McMahon denied the allegations, but federal investigators got involved in February. McMahon has not been charged.

A new profile piece on Vince McMahon by NBC News states that McMahon is cooperating with authorities, according to one of the people close to him.

The report states, "McMahon believes officials won’t bring any charges against him and that Grant’s civil case will be settled out of court, said a person close to the former wrestling executive."

A spokesperson for Grant’s attorneys told the outlet there have been absolutely no settlement talks with McMahon.

The piece says MacMahon hasn't had any contact with WWE or TKO leaders and figureheads since he resigned on January 26, but has been in touch with John Cena and Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson.

McMahon has reportedly taken trips to Turks and Caicos Islands and been in contact with Donald Trump as well.

McMahon, WWE, and John Laurinaitis have until May 14 to respond to Grant's lawsuit.
