'Tis the season for taped wrestling shows.
In recent years, WWE has seemingly made an effort to give talent more holidays off of work in order to spend time with their family. Back in October, Fightful Select revealed a list of dates that talent are now considered paid holidays. The list includes culturally significant holidays like MLK Day and Juneteenth, but it also features multi-day breaks for holidays like Christmas and Thanksgiving.
According to a new report from PWInsider, WWE NXT is set to tape two upcoming episodes of television in preparation of the holiday break. The report states that NXT will air live on Tuesday, December 13 as normal, but on the following day, the brand will tape the 12/20 and 12/27 episodes of the show.
The report also notes that NXT will resume their live broadcasts on January 3, 2023.
The December 6 edition of WWE NXT featured a pair of Iron Survivor qualifying matches, a bout between Charlie Dempsey and Hank Walker, and a special edition of The Grayson Waller Effect. To recap all of the happenings from Tuesday's episode, click here.
