- After promos on the cold open from Kyle Fletcher and Mark Briscoe, Tony Schiavone & Nigel McGuinness welcomed the audience to the opening segment.
- Marina Shafir tossed a security guard across ringside as Jon Moxley entered the ring. Moxley declared that the show starts when he says it starts, saying he was getting sick of the "Rated-R Superstar" and said he was not going to give Cope a title shot at the AEW World Title, but the simplest one being he did not like anything about Cope because he did to know what AEW stood for; however, Moxley said he can fight with Cope at any time and said he better hope Cope better pray he has some mercy on him because he can take his neck if he wanted to.
- Three-Way Trios Match: Undisputed Kingdom (Adam Cole, Kyle O'Reilly & Roderick Strong) def. Daniel Garcia & 2point0 (Matt Menard & Angelo Parker), and Shane Taylor Promotions (Shane Taylor, Carlie Bravo & Shawn Dean) (w/ Lee Moriarty) via Pinfall (Panama Sunrise.
- The Death Riders (Claudio Castagnoli, PAC & Wheeler Yuta) attacked The Undisputed Kingdom, but Strong evened again the odds by blasting Claudio with a jumping knee. The Undisputed Kingdom then issued a challenge for the AEW Trios Titles, which was made official.
- Max Caster was interviewed by Alicia Atout, where he seemed confused by "Hangman" Adam Page's antics before saying he will issue the Open Challenge on the 2/12 edition of AEW Dynamite.
- Bandido def. Bryan Keith via Pinfall (21 Plex).
- Powerhouse Hobbs cut a promo backstage, where he said he would be in Texas all week in case Big Bill
- LFI (RUSH, Dralistico & The Beast Mortos) def. Brick Savage, Ares Alexander & Jay Alexander via Pinfall (Bull's Horns from RUSH on Ares Alexander).
- LFI attacked The Alexanders and Savage after the match. Komander tried to make the save but was neutralized by LFI. LFI was about to remove Komander's mask, but Hologram returned to AEW and made the save. As Hologram & Komander brawled with Beast Mortos & Dralistico, RUSH blasted a referee with a vicious forearm strike.
- Lexy Nair tried to interview Megan Bayne but was interrupted by Thunder Rosa. Rosa tried to be friendly with Bayne, but Bayne stayed quiet. Rosa then took over the interview and vowed to give Penelope Ford a proper welcome to Texas.
- Harley Cameron was in the ring for her "Half-Time Concert" where she sang "Moné Train", but Mercedes Moné interrupted. Moné said nobody was there to listen to her sing, leading Cameron to sing another song. Moné then took the microphone and scolded Cameron for being a newbie. Cameron said she was indeed a rookie and she wanted a shot at the title in her home country but then said that the most entertaining Moné was when she was using a puppet. Moné slapped Cameron, but Cameron responded by blasting Moné in the dome with the microphone. Moné then accepted Cameron's challenge, saying she would defeat Cameron in her hometown.
- Lexy Nair moderated the face-to-face with Buddy Matthews & AEW Continental Champion Kazuchika Okada, who arrived late to the interview. Matthews said he did not buy Okada's comedy act and demanded Okada to tell him if he was doing a facade. Okada then called Matthews a "bitch", which led Matthews to pump-fake a punch before telling him he would see him in Brisbane.
- Dustin Rhodes def. Izzi James (Final Reckoning).
- After the match, Dustin Rhodes said MJF was not the devil because he went to hell, met him in person, and kicked his teeth in. Rhodes vowed to drag MJF to hell so he could meet the devil itself on AEW Dynamite.
- Thunder Rosa (w/ Toro Azul of The Houston Texans) def. Penelope Ford via Pinfall (Tijuana Bomb).
- Megan Bayne appeared in the ring after the match, but Ford attacked Rosa. Bayne then took off her crown before hitting Rosa with an F5.
- Lexy Nair interviewed Bun B, but he was interrupted by Ricochet. Ricochet said that since he was in AEW Collision, all the burgers from Trill Burger were his too. Ricochet spat out one of the burgers and threw one of the cooks before telling Bun B to inform Prince Nana as a thanks for the jacket.
- Glamorous Exhibition Match: Mariah May def. Shay Carmichael via Pinfall (Mayday).
- Luther appeared after the match and presented Toni Storm's Bloody Shoe to Mariah May. May spat at Luther before going to attack Carmichael, but there was a twist: TONI STORM TOOK CARMICHAEL'S SPOT! Storm then attacked May before May ran through the crowd.
- The Don Callis Family (Brian Cage, Lance Archer & Mark Davis) attacked some backstage personnel to help Davis acclimate himself into the faction.
- Kyle Fletcher def. Mark Briscoe via Pinfall (BRAINBUSTAAAA).
