AEW Collision (4/6/2024) Results: FTR vs Top Flight, House of Black, PAC, Yuka Sakazaki, More Appear

On April 6, 2024, All Elite Wrestling hosted a new episode of AEW Collision on TNT.

The show was headlined by Top Flight facing FTR in the finals of the East Conference of the AEW Tag Title Tourney. The full results are listed below.

AEW Collision (4/6/2024).

  • Tony Schiavone & Nigel McGuiness welcome the audience to the broadcast before transitioning into the opening match.
  • AEW World Tag Team Championship Tournament - East Semi-Final: FTR (Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler) def. Top Flight (Dante Martin & Darius Martin) via Pinfall (Big Rig/ Shatter Machine).
  • There was a video package narrated by Nigel McGuiness promoting The Elite (Kazuchika Okada, Matthew Jackson & Nicholas Jackson).
  • PAC def. Encore Moore via Submission (Brutalizer).
    • After the match, PAC said that he was on a mission to prove to everyone that he was the best wrestler on the globe, which is why he called out Kazuchika Okada. He said that he was eagerly waiting for Okada's response.
  • Bryan Danielson spoke with Renee Paquette about his match against Will Ospreay, saying that this was the kind of match he was wanting to have but was bamboozled when Ospreay called him the best wrestler he had ever seen.
  • LionHOOK (Chris Jericho & HOOK) def. Shane Taylor Promotions (Shane Taylor & Lee Moriarty) via Submission (Boston Crab).
    • After the match, Anthony Ogogo attacked LionHook from out of nowhere. Ogogo aligned himself with Shane Taylor Promotions.
  • Dustin Rhodes cut a promo backstage, where he said that he wanted to become World Heavyweight Champion in his career because it was the one thing he was missing. Rhodes called out Joe for a match for next week's AEW Dynamite.
  • Will Ospreay spoke with Renee Paquette about his match against Bryan Danielson, where he called their bout at AEW Dynasty the best of all time against the best of the 21st Century.
  • House of Black (Malakai Black, Brody King & Buddy Matthews) def. Christopher Daniels, Bryan Keith & Matt Sydal via Pinfall (Murphy's Law).
    • After the match, Adam Copeland attacked House of Black, but he was outnumbered. Mark Briscoe tried to make the save, but they were beaten up until FTR (Dax Hardwood & Cash Wheeler) saved. The Young Bucks (Matthew Jackson & Nicholas Jackson) brawled with FTR, but FTR got assistance from Copeland & Briscoe.
  • Rocky Romero was interviewed by Lexy Nair, where he called out Roderick Strong for the AEW International Champion. Strong appeared alongside Wardlow, Matt Taven & Mike Bennett, where he accepted the challenge.
  • LionHOOK (Chris Jericho & HOOK) challenged Shane Taylor Promotions (Shane Taylor, Lee Moriarty & Anthony Ogogo) to a trios match, but needed to get a third man for that match. Katsuyori Shibata appeared and said that he helped them out.

  • Yuka Sakazaki def. Trish Adora via Pinfall (Springboard Splash).
    • Serena Deeb appeared on the ramp after the match, seemingly calling out Sakazaki.
  • Daniel Garcia & Matt Menard cut a promo backstage, where Garcia said that it was time for him to be in the same club as the Will Ospreays and the Konosuke Takeshitas of the world.
  • Claudio Castagnoli def. The Butcher via Pinfall (Neutralizer).
  • There was a video vignette of Skye Blue & TBS Champion Julia Hart, where Hart said the end of her story with Willow Nightingale is coming soon. Hart then called out Mercedes Mone and said that she should roll her dice on the Princess of the Black Throne.
  • AEW World Heavyweight Champion Samoa Joe responded to Dustin Rhodes’s challenge, where he said he was the only one who held the power to call the shots. Joe said he could not give him a title shot, but he would give him a Championship Eliminator. Joe said there are consequences for people calling his name in being and promised to make an example out of The Natural.

  • Penta El Zero Miedo (w/ Alex Abrahantes) def. Komander via Pinfall (Fear Factor).
    • Adam Copeland appeared on the ramp to have a staredown with Penta. Penta stood tall to end the broadcast.
