AEW Dynamite (10/18) Results: Jon Moxley Defends Against Hangman Page On Title Tuesday Edition

  • AEW Interim Women's World Championship: Toni Storm (c) vs. Hikaru Shida
  • AEW World Trios Championship: Death Triangle (PAC, Penta Oscuro, and Rey Fenix) (c) vs. Best Friends (Trent Beretta and Chuck Taylor) and Orange Cassidy
  • ROH World Championship: Chris Jericho (c) vs. Dalton Castle
  • Renee Paquette interviews Bryan Danielson and Wheeler Yuta

AEW World Trios Championship: Death Triangle (PAC, Penta Oscuro, and Rey Fenix) (c) vs. Best Friends (Trent Beretta and Chuck Taylor) and Orange Cassidy

Fenix stops PAC from using the ring bell hammer, Cassidy capitalizes and rolls PAC up. Best Friends take control and nearly win with The Double Stomp/Air Raid Crash combination. In the end, Fenix gets the win by planting Trent with Emerald Fusion.

Winners and still champions: Death Triangle by pinfall

- Britt Baker and Jamie Hayter say that one of them will be World Champion before the end of the year.

AEW Interim Women's World Championship: Toni Storm (c) vs. Hikaru Shida

Hikaru Shida gets a near fall with a Falcon Arrow. Ultimately, Toni gets the win after stomping Shida's head and a Storm Zero Piledriver.

Winner and still champion: Toni Storm by pinfall

- After the match, Jamie Hayter and RebelJump the two competitors, Britt Baker comes out but it is stopped by Saraya. Riho returns and saves Toni Storm and Shida.

- Darby Allin has a confrontation with Jay Lethal and Sonjay Dutt. Dutt and Lethal slam a garage door on him and Lethal locks on the Figure Four.

- FTR and Swerve in Our Glory agree to meet next week for the number one contenders spot.

- Maxwell Jacob Friedman and William Regal have and intense altercation. MJF recalls William Regal saying that he would get him a job with WWE but declined when he realized how young he was. Max also recalls an email where William told him that his promo skills were akin to acting. William Regal tells Maxwell but he still has a lot to learn. Regal turns his back and invites MJF to hit him and when he doesn't, Regal says he still has a lot to learn and walks away.

- The Acclaimed will face the Varsity Athletes this Friday in a Titles vs. Trademarks match.

- Renee Paquette sits down with Bryan Danielson and Wheeler Yuta. Danielson talks about being disappointed and Daniel Garcia and Wheeler Yuta takes exception to Danielson saying that Garcia is the best wrestler he's ever seen.

ROH World Championship: Chris Jericho (c) vs. Dalton Castle

Jericho and Castle go back and forth while on the outside, The Boys antagonize Jake Hager and steal his For this, Jake Hager takes them out while putting the hat back on in proclaiming that he likes the hat. Back in the ring, Jericho and Castle trade submissions and Castle gets a near fall with the Bangarang. Continuing on, they trade strikes and Jericho gets the victory with the Judas Effect.

Winner and still champion: Chris Jericho by pinfall.

- After the match, Jericho sends his Appreciation Society to attack Ian Riccaboni, Jerry Lynn stops the attack from happening and eats a Tombstone Piledriver from Chris Jericho.

- A Christian Cage vignette airs. Christian promises to get Luchasaurus some gold.

- Backstage, Jade Cargill tells the Baddies she's disappointed in them for not getting her TBS Title back from Nyla Rose and says she will hijack Rampage this Friday unless Tony Khan gets Nyla Rose to give her her belt back.

AEW World Championship: Jon Moxley (c) vs. Hangman Page

The match starts in the crowd as both men brawl before the bell even rings. Hangman hits a Moonsault from a scaffold and Jon Moxley is already bleeding before the match is in the ring. Jon Moxley locks in some early submissions, but Page is able to get out of them. Page is able to hit the Dead Eye on the apron.

Later on, Moxley is able to escape a Boston Crab and Hangman is able to escape a choke, the brawl continues but then Jon Moxley hits his King Kong Lariat and the match is suddenly stopped when Hangman Page can no longer continue.

Winner and still champion: Jon Moxley by referee stoppage

- After the match, Hangman is stretchered out of the arena. With 9 minutes to go in the show, Jon Moxley calls out Maxwell Jacob Friedman. Maxwell teases cashing in his poker chip before revealing that he will do it at AEW Full Gear because for once in his life, he wants to earn his accomplishment.
