This is the Fightful.com live coverage for tonight's episode of IMPACT Wrestling on POP TV! We are just three days away from Redemption this Sunday night, but tonight we have Johnny Impact taking on Kongo Kong, KM issues an open challenge, Braxton Sutter and Su Yung team up to take on Fallah Bahh and Keira Hogan and much more so be sure to come back here at 8 PM EST for all of the action!
-We open the show with a video package for the feud between Austin Aries and Alberto El Patron before El Patron was fired, then we recap the triple threat match at IMPACT Wrestling vs Lucha Underground in which Pentagon Jr won before Austin talks about the three way match at Redemption with the IMPACT title on the line.
Braxton Sutter & Su Yung vs Fallah Bahh & Keira Hogan
Bahh and Keira hit a double running cross body before Bahh hits a belly to belly to Sutter before tagging Keira in. Keira hits a diving cross body to Su before Su sidesteps a curb stomp and tags Braxton back in. Su and Braxton go after Bahh before she tries to lift him, but she can't budge him before tagging Sutter back in. Sutter sends Bahh out of the ring before Su hits a cannonball off of the apron and Braxton rolls him back into the ring. Bahh comes back with a Samoan drop before Keira and Su are tagged in, Keira dropping Su repeatedly before hitting a snapmare into a superkick.
Su hits Bahh with a kendo stick when he's talking to the referee before Braxton sends him out of the ring. Su then hits Keira with a spinning Michinoku driver for the pin and the win.
Winner: Braxton Sutter & Su Yung defeat Fallah Bahh & Keira Hogan via pinfall when Su hits Keira with a spinning Michinoku driver.
-After the match Allie comes out and attacks Su from behind before they brawl at ringside until the officials pull them apart as we go to commercial.
-We get a video package where Eddie Edwards talks about nearly losing his eye and going to the hospital and oVe stalking his wife before oVe talk about what they're going to do at Redemption when oVe takes on Tommy Dreamer, Eddie and Moose.
-We get a match between Kurt Angle and Bobby Roode on the Global Wrestling Network.
-KM comes out and issues an open challenge that is answered by Brian Cage before Cage comes out and squashes him in two minutes with a variation of an F5.
Johnny Impact vs Kongo Kong
They start the match off by Kong sending Johnny over the top rope and onto the floor before he gets back in the ring and Kong beats him down before splashing him in the corner and hitting a belly to back suplex. Kong misses a leg drop before Johnny beats on him in mount for a quick two count, then Kong drops drops him with a headbutt before choking him in the ropes. Johnny hits an enzuigiri before Kong splashes into him and sends him over the top rope and onto the floor once again. Kong kills the referee by sending him into the railing before Kong and Jimmy set up the steps on the apron and launches him face first into the steps for the disqualification.
Winner: Johnny Impact defeats Kongo Kong via disqualification when Kong takes out the referee and uses the ring steps on Johnny.
-We get a video package for Matt Sydal and Petey Williams for the X-Division Championship at Redemption. We then get a video package for LAX versus Eli Drake and Scott Steiner for the IMPACT Tag Team Championship at Redemption.
-We then get the entirety of the triple threat match between Austin Aries, Pentagon Jr and Fenix from the IMPACT Wrestling vs Lucha Underground event at WrestleCon two weeks ago where Pentagon Jr won.
