Hey Fight Fans, it's time for tonight's edition of IMPACT Wrestling with night two of Emergence!
IMPACT World Championship Match
Eddie Edwards (c) vs RVD w/Katie Forbes
They lock up for a clean break before Eddie locks in a standing side headlock and sends RVD out of the ring with an overhead belly to belly. Eddie hits a suicide dive and beats on RVD around ringside before Katie distracts Eddie and RVD sends him into the post. RVD hangs Eddie across the railing before hitting a diving ax kick off of the apron before tossing Eddie back inside for two. They exchange strikes until RVD hits a drop toe hold and sends Eddie into the second rope before Katie hip attacks him from the apron when RVD distracts the referee. Eddie comes back with a back suplex before RVD rolls him up for two and Eddie hits a Tiger driver for a near fall.
Eddie sends RVD up in the corner before RVD crotches Eddie on the top rope and hits a diving kick. RVD then hits a Rolling Thunder before missing a diving splash and Eddie hits the Boston Knee Party for the pin and the win.
Winner: Eddie Edwards retains his IMPACT World Championship by defeating RVD via pinfall.
- Eric Young attacks Eddie after the match and tells him he's challenging him for the belt next week before we go to Josh and Madison who breakdown the rest of tonight's card.
- We go to Wrestle House where The Deaners are still looking for their missing beer from last week as we go to commercial.
- We come back to the Wrestle House Johnny throws powder in the eyes of Steve and Tommy makes an impromptu match in the back yard between the two. The two then proceed to have the match blindfolded before it's won by Steve.
- Backstage Eddie is looking for Eric Young as we go back to commercial.
- We get a video package for Eric Young before we go to Rhino who cuts a promo on Reno Scum for attacking him several weeks ago and how he plans to team up with Heath to take them on next week..
- Eddie Edwards comes out to the ring and cuts a promo on Eric before Eric comes out onto the ramp and makes his way down to ringside. The two then brawl at ringside before they're all separated by security as we go back to commercial.
- We come back to a backstage interview with newly crowned X-Division champion Rohit Raju who talks about winning the title at Slammiversary from Chris Bey and how he's ready for all comers.
- We go to this week's edition of Locker Room Talk with special guests The Rascalz before they're interrupted by Ace Austin and Madman Fulton. Fulton nearly comes to blows with Wentz before they Ace makes him back off and they leave.
- We go to a promo by Sami Callihan under a red strobe light where he tells RVD and Katie Forbes that he'll see them next week before we go to commercial.
- We get a video package promo by EC3 who goes over his accolades in IMPACT in his first run with the company. EC3 says that the TNA World title needs to be destroyed and once he wins it back he can get back to his former self.
Brian Myers vs Willie Mack
They wring each other's arms before Willie puts Brian in a side headlock and drops him with a shoulder block. Willie dropkicks Brian before Brian knees Eddie in the midsection and chokes him in the ropes. Brian hits a snap mare into a PK before locking in a rear chin lock and Willie comes back with a head scissors. Brian and Willie shove each other before Brian takes Willie down to the mat and they brawl up to their feet. Brian stomps Willie before sweeping him when he gets back to his feet and locks in a rear chin lock.
Willie comes back with a pop up sit-out powerbomb for two before hitting a clothesline into a back elbow and a scoop slam. Willie hits a jumping knee drop for a deep two count before hitting a Samoan drop into a standing moonsault for another two count. Brian comes back with a diving elbow drop for a near fall before hitting an enzuigiri for a second near fall. Brian then pins Willie out of nowhere while holding the trunks.
Winner: Brian Myers defeats Willie Mack via pinfall.
Knockouts Championship Ironman Match
Deonna Purrazzo (c) vs Jordynne Grace
The two lock up before Grace games Deonna down onto the mat and wrings her arm. Grace takes Deonna back down before she gets back to her feet and Grace arm drags Deonna. They lock up again and Deonna takes Grace down with a side headlock take over. Grace turns it into a head scissors submission before Deonna stands on her head to get free and up to her feet. Grace rolls Deonna up for two before reapplying a headlock and dropping her with a shoulder block before they exchange arm drags.
Grace then sends Deonna down onto the mat before locking in a single leg Boston crab and Deonna scrambles to the ropes for the break as we go to commercial.
We come back to Grace in control, whipping Deonna into the corner before Deonna slides out of the ring. Grace goes after Deonna and boots her at ringside before smashing her face into the apron. Deonna rolls Grace back into the ring and kicks her before focusing on her arm to set up the Fujiwara armbar. Grace makes her way back to her feet before Deonna forces her back down onto the mat and wrenches the arm of Grace. Grace gets her foot on the bottom rope for the break before Deonna starts stomping her arm.
Deonna then covers Grace for several two counts before dumping her out of the ring and posing as we go to commercial.
Deonna is in control as we come back from the break, focusing on joint manipulation before pinning Grace's shoulders down onto the mat for a quick two count. Deonna snaps the arm of Grace for two before Grace comes back with shoulder tackles and elbows in the corner. Grace sets Deonna up on the top turnbuckle before Deonna knocks her down and Grace rocks Deonna with an uppercut. Grace hits an avalanche overhead belly to back suplex before dropping Deonna with a back elbow and following up with several running senton for a near fall. Grace locks in a rear naked choke before the referee calls for the bell and Grace goes up 1-0.
Deonna comes back with a submission of her own before Grace gets to the ropes for the break. Deonna stomps Grace before chopping her across the chest and Grace comes back with chops of her own. Deonna counters a Grace driver before the referee gets taken out by Grace. Grace hits the Grace driver, but the referee is still out of it before Deonna hits her with the title belt and pins her to even the score at 1-1. Deonna goes for another cover, but Grace kicks out before hitting a German suplex into a Fujiwara armbar.
Deonna then submits Grace with a Fujiwara armbar to go up 2-1 as the time winds down for the win.
Winner: Deonna Purrazzo defends her Knockouts Championship by defeating Jordynne Grace when she has more falls when time runs out.
