WWE Raw Results For 7/1/2019: WWE United States Title Match, AJ Styles Reveals His True Self & The Street Profits Debut

Falls Count Anywhere Match
Braun Strowman vs. Bobby Lashley

The match begins with Strowman and Lashley attacking each other with shoulder tackles, Lashley eventually knocks Strowman out of the ring after landing a spear. Lashley goes out of the ring before Strowman nails him with a shoulder block and a senton, Lashley escapes the grasp of Strowman to send him into the ring post and land a spear for a near fall. Lashley uses a clothesline to knock Strowman over the barricade and into the crowd, Lashley follows Strowman into the crowd before throwing him into a wall. Lashley grabs a steel chair and he attacks Strowman with it multiple times before getting a near fall on a pin attempt, Lashley continues the attack by nailing Strowman with some strikes.

Strowman recovers and he tosses Lashley across the arena floor, Strowman follows that up by drilling Lashley with a shoulder tackle for a near fall. Strowman grabs Lashley and backs him into the barricade, Strowman follows that up by tossing Lashley out of the crowd and onto the stage. Lashley fights back and he suplexes Strowman on the stage for a near fall, Lashley sets up for a spear and Strowman winds up spearing him through the LED screens. The referee calls over medical personnel to check on both competitors as we go to a commercial break.

- We return from the commercial break with Braun Strowman and Bobby Lashley being placed on stretchers before being put in separate ambulances, highlights of the incident are shown multiple times.

Viking Raiders (Erik & Ivar) vs. The New Day (Xavier Woods & Big E)

The match begins with Erik attacking E with a few strikes, E drops a charging Erik with a back elbow strike before landing a splash on the ring apron for a near fall. Erik fights back and he nails E with a forearm strike, Ivar tags in an he crushes E with a rope assisted butt smash. Ivar holds E down while landing strikes to his head, Erik tags in and the Viking Raiders hit E with a series of double team moves for a near fall. Erik decides to wrench away on the arm of a downed E, E fights his way free and he nails Erik with a belly to belly suplex. Samoa Joe appears from out of nowhere and he attacks Woods.

Winners: The New Day (Xavier Woods & Big E), by DQ

After the match, Kofi Kingston makes his way to the ring and a huge brawl breaks out between all six competitors.

Samoa Joe & Viking Raiders (Erik & Ivar) vs. The New Day (Kofi Kingston, Xavier Woods & Big E)

The match begins with Kingston attacking Ivar with a series of kicks and a flying forearm strike, Kingston then drops Ivar with a springboard drop kick. Woods tags in and he double teams Ivar with Kingston for a near fall, Joe distracts Woods and that allows Ivar to drops him with a kick to the face. Joe tags in and he attacks Woods with a series of strikes, Joe then drops a charging Woods with an elbow strike to the face. Joe holds Woods down to land some headbutts before tagging Ivar in, Erik tags into double team Woods with Ivar before landing a knee strike. Erik holds Woods down while wrenching away on his arm, Woods gets free and Erik nails him with an exploder suplex. Ivar tags in and Erik slams him onto the downed Woods, Joe tags back in and he nails Woods with a senton for a near fall.

Joe attacks E and that allows Woods to fight back for a short time, Erik tags in and he nails Woods with some more strikes. Joe tags in again and Woods drops him with a middle rope missile drop kick, Ivar and Kingston get tagged in by their respective partners. Kingston starts cleaning house against the opposing team, Ivar and Kingston battle in the ring until Erik tags in. Kingston quickly drops Erik with a leaping clothesline followed by the Boom Drop, Joe distracts Kingston and Erik attacks him from behind. Joe tags in and Kingston knocks him to the arena floor, members from both teams hit the ring and they all take each other out. Kingston sets up for a dive and Joe catches him in the rear naked choke and Kingston goes out cold.

Winners: Samoa Joe & Viking Raiders (Erik & Ivar)

- Drake Maverick and his wife are backstage when they bump into Dana Brooke, his wife says that Maverick must choose between her and the WWE 24/7 Title. Maverick chooses her when he sees R-Truth backstage, R-Truth says he is a sucker for romance before walking away.

- Doc Gallows & Karl Anderson are talking backstage when AJ Styles approaches, Styles talks about how Anderson and Gallows lost to the Viking Raiders last week. Anderson and Gallows talk about how Styles almost lost to Ricochet last week, Anderson and Gallows are betting Anderson’s hot Asian wife against whether or not Styles can win the WWE United States Title.

- Cesaro and No Way Jose are supposed to have a match, but R-Truth is shown dancing with Drake Maverick’s wife as a part of Jose’s conga line and a bunch of wrestlers hit the ringside area to chase R-Truth backstage. Cesaro attacks Jose and knocks him out of the ring before landing a gut wrench suplex on the arena floor, Cesaro then hits Jose with a Gotch Style Neutralizer on the arena floor.

- Charly Caruso interviews The Street Profits, Angelo Dawkins and Montel Ford announce that they are here on WWE Raw before dancing.

- Shane McMahon & Drew McIntyre are shown backstage.

- The Miz is interviewed backstage, Miz talks about what happened earlier in the night between Braun Strowman and Bobby Lashley. Miz talks about how he created the “Best In The World” moniker for Shane McMahon, Miz promises to eliminate Elias tonight.

- Shane McMahon & Drew McIntyre make their way to the ring, McMahon talks about what happened earlier tonight between Braun Strowman and Bobby Lashley. McMahon says that Roman Reigns knows he cannot beat himself and McIntyre, McMahon and McIntyre promise to put The Undertaker in the ground at WWE Extreme Rules. McIntyre says he doesn’t give a damn about The Undertaker, McIntyre says he is dressed to fight and he challenges The Undertaker to make his way to the ring. The Undertaker obliges and makes his way to the ring, McIntyre and McMahon exit the ring before The Undertaker gets in. The Undertaker says Reigns never asked for his help, The Undertaker says he is here to collect the souls of McIntyre and McMahon.

The Undertaker says that he once had a little respect for McMahon, The Undertaker says McMahon and McIntyre will never Rest In Peace.

- Lacey Evans and Baron Corbin are shown backstage, Corbin says the Extreme Rules Match benefits him and Evans. Corbin wonders why Seth Rollins would risk everything for Becky Lynch, Evans says that Lynch has put all of her faith in Rollins.

Lacey Evans w/Baron Corbin vs. Natalya

The match begins with Natalya backing Evans into the ropes before shoving her out of the ring, Natalya goes out of the ring and Evans hits her with a clothesline. Evans gets Natalya in the ring for a near fall on a pin attempt, Evans smashes Natalya into the turnbuckles a few times. Evans keeps Natalya trapped in the corner while landing a bronco buster for a near fall, Evans traps Natalya in the ropes while landing elbow strikes and knee strikes. Evans then hits Natalya with a slingshot elbow drop for a near fall, Evans slows things down by holding Natalya in a cobra clutch. Natalya gets free and Evans nails her with a neck breaker for a near fall, Evans goes to the middle rope and Natalya knocks her off.

Natalya corners Evans while landing a plethora of strikes before rolling her up for a near fall, Natalya then hits Evans with a discus clothesline. Natalya then drops Evans on her butt before being tripped up by Corbin, Evans nails Natalya with a Woman’s Right for a three count.

Winner: Lacey Evans w/Baron Corbin

- Charly Caruso interviews Ricochet backstage, Ricochet says that it was an honor to headline Raw last week against AJ Styles. Ricochet says that he would probably beat Styles if they were to meet again, Karl Anderson and Doc Gallows arrive to mock Ricochet.

- The Miz is shown walking backstage.

- AJ Styles confronts Karl Anderson & Doc Gallows about their confrontation with Ricochet, Anderson and Gallows tell Styles that he lost his edge. Styles goes and finds Ricochet backstage, Styles tells Ricochet that he will take his title tonight and Ricochet accepts the match before the duo exchanges slaps.

The Miz vs. Elias

Fall #1

The fall begins with Miz attacking Elias before the bell sounds, Miz sends Elias out of the ring before throwing him into the ring steps a few times. Miz gets Elias in the ring and the referee separates them before ringing the bell, Miz hits Elias with a Skull Crushing Finale for a three count.

Fall #1 Winner: The Miz

Fall #2

The fall begins with Elias retreating to the arena floor before Miz hits him with a drop kick, Elias is thrown back in the ring and he nails Miz with a knee strike. Miz goes for a figure four after a drop kick and Elias rolls him up for a near fall, Elias nails Miz with Drift Away from out of nowhere for a three count.

Fall #2 Winner: Elias

Fall #3

The fall begins with Miz and Elias exchanging some blows, Elias avoids a kick before nailing Miz with a sit out power bomb for a near fall. Miz fights back and Elias drops him with a back elbow strike, Elias stands over Miz while landing a few strikes. Elias applies a chin lock to Miz and Miz eventually gets free, Elias and Miz exchange strikes until Miz rolls up Elias for a near fall. Miz fights back some more and he nails Elias with a series of chops, Elias recovers to land a reverse DDT for a near fall. Miz rolls to the ring apron and Miz causes him to crash knee first into the ring post, Miz gets Elias into the ring and he applies the figure four leg lock to force a tap out.

Fall #3 Winner: The Miz

Winner: The Miz (2-1)

- Becky Lynch & Seth Rollins are shown backstage.

- Charly Caruso interview Becky Lynch & Seth Rollins, Rollins wishes Braun Strowman and Bobby Lashley the best after their incident earlier tonight. Rollins and Lynch both deny that Rollins is an impulsive person, the two joke about their relationship when Maria Kanellis arrives to challenge their status as the first couple of the WWE. Maria talks about giving birth and then Mike Kanellis arrives, Maria and Mike challenge Lynch and Rollins tonight.

Mike Kanellis & Maria Kanellis vs. Seth Rollins & Becky Lynch

The match begins with Rollins dropping Mike with a snap mare before kicking him in the back, Mike gets up and Rollins trips him up before landing a back elbow strike. Mike recovers and he corners Rollins before landing a few kicks, Rollins recovers and he nails Mike with a buckle bomb followed by a thrust kick. Lynch tags in and Maria grabs the microphone to mock Mike for his efforts in the match, Lynch goes after Maria and Maria says she is pregnant. Mike questions how Maria got pregnant and Maria mocks him, Lynch locks Mike in the Disarmer and Mike taps out.

Winners: Seth Rollins & Becky Lynch

After the match, Maria gets in the ring with the microphone to insult Mike some more, Maria says she has waited to see Mike grow up and he has been a disappointment. Maria says Becky Lynch was the only man in the ring tonight and maybe she’ll get impregnated by Lynch next time.

- Charly Caruso interviews Paul Heyman backstage, Heyman talks about Brock Lesnar and the Money In The Bank contract. The Street Profits arrive and they talk about Lesnar until Heyman leaves.

- Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross are shown backstage.

- Alexa Bliss makes her way to the stage to host A Moment Of Bliss, tonight’s guest is going to be Nikki Cross. Highlights are shown of Cross beating Bayley to get Bliss another shot at the Smackdown Women’s Championship, Cross says that Bliss was the first person to take her seriously and Cross will always be thankful for that. Carmella interrupts and makes her way to the talk show, Carmella questions why Bliss is getting a title shot after Cross’ win. Carmella says that Bliss is taking advantage of Cross and wonders what Cross will get for the win last week, Bliss mocks Carmella and Carmella challenges her to a match.

Alexa Bliss w/Nikki Cross vs. Carmella

The match begins with Carmella quickly rolling up Bliss for a three count.

Nikki Cross w/Alexa Bliss vs. Carmella

The match begins with Cross attacking Carmella before eating a drop kick, Carmella follows that up by dropping Cross with a head scissors takedown. Carmella then hits Cross with a clothesline and Cross rolls out of the ring, Bliss distracts Carmella and that allows Cross to trap her in the ring apron before landing some strikes. Cross gets Carmella back in the ring to get a near fall on a few pin attempts, Carmella fights back and she drops Cross with more clotheslines. Carmella then hits Cross with an atomic drop and a bronco buster for a near fall, Cross recovers and she nails Carmella with a rope assisted drop kick. Cross misses a leap off the ropes before hitting Carmella with a spinning neck breaker for a three count.

Winner: Nikki Cross w/Alexa Bliss

- AJ Styles is shown warming up backstage.

- Alexa Bliss & Nikki Cross are talking backstage when they get interrupts, Bliss refuses to allow Cross to answer a question about a potential title shot.

- Drake Maverick & wife are talking backstage when a bunch of wrestlers chasing R-Truth storm by, Maverick attacks R-Truth with a brief case and pins him to win the WWE 24/7 Title.

- Ricochet is shown walking backstage.

WWE United States Championship
Ricochet (Champion) vs. AJ Styles

The match begins with Ricochet tripping up Styles before rolling him up, Styles recovers and he cracks Ricochet with a right. Ricochet recovers and he eventually nails Styles with a springboard clothesline, Styles shocks Ricochet with a roll up for a near fall. Styles keeps control by smashing Ricochet into the turnbuckle a few times, Ricochet knocks Styles out of the ring before nailing him with a suicide dive. Ricochet gets Styles in the ring and he misses a springboard leap, Styles nails Ricochet with a Phenomenal Forearm for a three count, even though Ricochet’s foot was under the rope. A second referee comes out and a discussion takes place as we go to a commercial break, we return from the break to see the match restarted and Ricochet attacking Styles with some strikes.

Styles fights back and Ricochet nails him with an enzaguri, Ricochet then hits Styles with a neck breaker for a near fall. Ricochet recovers from a missed phoenix splash attempt before knocking Styles out of the ring, Ricochet misses a suicide dive and Styles lands his. Styles gets Ricochet back in the ring before landing a brain buster for a near fall, Styles follows up by landing the Rack Bomb for a near fall. Styles then places Ricochet on the top rope and he follows him up there, Ricochet knocks Styles down and he catches Styles with a roll up for a three count.

Winner: Ricochet, still the WWE United States Champion

After the match, Ricochet and AJ Styles shake hands while Karl Anderson and Doc Gallows make their way towards the ring, Styles turns on Ricochet and attacks him. Gallows and Anderson hit the ring to nail Ricochet with a Magic Killer, Styles then hits Ricochet with a super Styles Clash from the middle rope.
