WWE NXT (3/12/2024) Results: Oba Femi Defends Title, Shawn Spears, Trick Williams, LWO, More Appear

  • After a video package recapping the events Vic Joseph & Booker T welcomed the audience to the broadcast before transitioning into the opening contest as the LWO & OTM brawled at ringside.
  • NXT Tag Team Championship #1 Contender's Tournament - First Round: LWO (Joaquin Wilde & Cruz Del Toro) def. OTM (Lucien Price & Bronco Nima) (w/ SCRYPTS).
  • There was a vignette of Oba Femi being confronted by Brooks Jensen on the NXT Parking Lot before Josh Briggs & a team of security guards separated them ahead of their Title match tonight.
  • Thea Hail spoke with Andre Chase & Duke Hudson about Jasmyn Nyx and Jacy Jayne were hanging out without her. Hail said she would be teaming with Kelani Jordan against Kiana James and Izzi Dame tonight.
  • Roxanne Perez came to the ring to cut a promo, saying that her attack on Lyra Valkyria was a year in the making after the fans made her feel worthless, saying that she did not care about what the fans wanted anymore. Perez called out NXT General Manager Ava and demanded she vacate the title from Lyra Valkyria and award her the championship. Ava was going to confront Perez, Tatum Paxley appeared from the crowd and tried to attack Perez. Security guards stopped Paxley from attacking Perez.
  • The Family (Adrianna Rizzo, Channing "Stacks" Lorenzo, Luca Crucifino & Tony D'Angelo) had a celebration dinner to welcome Crucifino into the faction and D'Angelo becoming the #1 Contender for the NXT Championship. D'Angelo thanked for fooling Hayes with Trick Williams's music before NXT Champion Ilja Dragunov joined them in the restaurant.
    After the rest of The Family left the table to leave D''Angelo & Dragunov alone, Dragunov congratulated D'Angelo on the win last week but said that he would keep his title after NXT Stand & Deliver. This led to Stacks & Crucifino kidnapping Dragunov, and putting him in the trunk of The Family's car.
  • Lexis King def. Mr. Stone.
    • King tried to attack Mr. Stone after the match, but Von Wagner made the save. Wagner carried Mr. Stone to the back.
  • NXT North American Champion Oba Femi was interviewed by Kelly Kincaid, saying that his confrontation with Brooks Jensen earlier in the night was nothing more than an ignorant boy who needed to be lectured that he could not hang in his jungle and would need to be slaughtered. DIJAK interrupted the interview by saying that he did not buy Femi's schtick and told him to prove if he had what it took to be a real champion.
  • After video calling his wife and daughter backstage, Ridge Holland trained ahead of his match against Shawn Spears later tonight.
  • WWE NXT North American Championship Match: Oba Femi def. Brooks Jensen.
    • Josh Briggs joined ringside to check on Jensen after the match.
  • Channing "Stacks" Lorenzo, Luca Crucifino, Adrianna Rizzo & Tony D'Angelo carried Ilja Dragunov to a bridge, where they told Dragunov they had to send him a warning after entering their restaurant unannounced. Dragunov told D'Angelo to show him what he had, but D'Angelo responded by saying he would in NXT Stand & Deliver. Dragunov told D'Angelo that one thing he would learn about him was that he always finds a way.
  • Arianna Grace def. Gigi Dolin (via Disqualification).
    • Sol Ruca & Karmen Petrovic were speaking backstage before Lola Vice confronted Petrovic, challenging her to a match. Brinley Reece met Ruca backstage, saying she looked forward to facing her next week.
  • Kelani Jordan was mysteriously attacked backstage, leaving her out of her tag match. In her place, Fallon Henley replaced Jordan after the injury.
  • Kelani Jordan & Thea Hail def. Fallon Henley & Izzi Dame.
    • Jasmyn Nyx & Jacy Jayne joined ringside mid-match. In the finish, Dame went for a boot kick on Henley, but Jayne pulled Henley away to cause Dame to boot Hail in the head. James saw the opening and hit a Knee Strike on Hail for the win.
    • Hail cut a promo after the match, saying that she was wrong for aligning herself with Jayne and said that the old Thea Hail is back.
  • Riley Osbourne watched the segment backstage before No Quarter Catch Club (Drew Gulak, Damon Kemp, Miles Bourne & Charlie Dempsey). The No Quarter Catch Crew were about to attack Osbourne after he called out Dempsey being from Atlanta, but Axiom & Nathan Frazer joined Osbourne.
  • The Good Brothers ("The Big LG" Luke Gallows & "The Machine Gun" Karl Anderson) cut a promo backstage calling out Hank Walker & Tank Ledger before saying that they were aiming to hit a Magic Killer to every tag team around.
  • Hank Walker & Tank Ledger watched the promo from The Good Brothers, where they said they would go to make the upset against The Good Brothers, saying they would go one match at a time. Bron Breakker & Baron Corbin spoke with them backstage.
  • Shawn Spears def. Ridge Holland.
  • Trick Williams came to the ring to cut a promo addressing his return on NXT Roadblock. Williams said that watching Carmelo Hayes succeed made him want to step up his game before saying that he wanted to be happy for Hayes the same way Hayes was happy for him. Williams said that John Cena told him that Carmelo Hayes was hating on him, which led to Williams asking Hayes if he attacked him. Williams said that Hayes had lied to him the whole time, but said that Hayes was right in saying that he & Hayes were never on the same level, even if Hayes tried to raise his height.
  • Williams challenged Hayes to a match but was interrupted by The Meta Four (Noam Dar, Oro Mensah, Jakara Jackson & Lash Legend), who said Williams deserved it. This led to a brawl, with Williams taking out Mensah and Dar before he & Legend kissed. The Meta Four were bamboozled as Trick Williams stood tall to end the broadcast.
