WWE NXT Results 5/2 Pete Dunne vs Roderick Strong, Street Profits vs TM61 & More!

This is the Fightful.com live coverage for tonight's episode of WWE NXT. Tonight we have a great show as in our main event Pete Dunne finally gets his hands on Roderick Strong after he betrayed him and joined Undisputed Era  Street Profits take on TM61, Candice LeRae takes on Bianca Belair and much more so be sure to come back here at 8pm for all of the action!

-Kairi Sane has a squash match against local talent to open the show before Lacey Evans comes out and challenges her to a match as we go to commercial. We then get a video package for Lars Sullivan before Street Profits come out to the ring for their match against TM61.

Street Profits vs TM61

SP double team Nick before he tags Shane in and he hits a slingshot senton then he and Nick double team Angelo for a quick two count. Ford gets tagged in and takes Nick out before Shane rolls him up and puts his feet on the ropes and Nick holding his feet for the pin and the win.

Winner: TM61 defeat Street Profits via pinfall when Shane pins Montez with a roll up leverage pin.

-Kona Reeves has a squash match against Patrick Clark where he wins with a reverse Samoan drop. We then get a video package for EC3 before our next match.

Candice LeRae vs Bianca Belair

They lock up to start the match before exchanging headlocks, then Candice gets a quick two count before Bianca catches her coming off of the top and slams her to the mat. Bianca hits a military press slam before putting Candice in a torture rack. Candice comes back with a flurry of offense before hitting a missile dropkick, then goes for a tornado DDT, but Bianca counters it. Bianca then hits a reverse powerbomb for the pin and the win.

Winner: Bianca Belair defeats Candice LeRae via pinfall with a reverse powerbomb.

Pete Dunne vs Roderick Strong

Pete immediately attacks Strong and beats him down in the corner before Strong tries grappling, but Pete is right back up. Strong gets out of the ring, but Pete goes out after him and tosses him back into the ring before Strong capitalizes and hits a backbreaker. Strong starts focusing on the back of Pete before they get back out of the ring and Strong backdrops him onto the apron. They get back in the ring and Pete comes back with an x-plex before Pete hits an enzuigiri and comes off of the top and stomps right on the elbow of Strong. Roderick gets out of the ring to regroup with UE before he gets back in the ring and hits a jumping knee into a backbreaker for a near fall.

They exchanged kicks before Pete goes for an armbar that Strong counters with a roll up, then Strong catches Pete up top before hitting an avalanche Olympic slam for a very close near fall. Pete then snaps Roderick's fingers before hitting the Bitter End for a very close near fall that Kyle and Bobby come in and break up for the disqualification.

Winner: Pete Dunne defeats Roderick Strong via disqualification when Kyle O'Reilly and Bobby Fish interfere.
