WWE NXT UK Results for 2/4/21 Cruiserweight Title Open Challenge, Dragunov vs T-Bone

Good afternoon Fight Fans, and welcome to our coverage for today's edition of WWE NXT UK!

Xia Brookside vs Nina Samuels

MVP Competes In First Bout Since 2022 Against Josh Barnett At Bloodsport XII

Xia fakes Nina down to the mat before locking in a standing side headlock and Nina counters a side headlock take over before Xia hits a sunset flip for two. Nina counters a head scissors into a reverse suplex before stomping Xia down in the corner and Xia counters a scoop slam into a roll up for two before Nina hits an elbow drop for two. Nina locks in a rear chin lock before transitioning into a straight armbar with a chin bar before driving Xia into the corner and hitting her with shoulder thrusts. Xia counters a fireman's carry and rocks Nina with strikes before hitting a head scissors into Broken Wings in the corner for two. Nina trips Xia before Xia dropkicks her out of the ring and hits a head scissors off of the apron and down onto the floor before Nina grabs her luggage at ringside.

Nina then goes to hit Xia with her suitcase before the referee goes after it and Nina hits Xia with her hand bag when he's distracted before rolling Xia up for the win.

Winner: Nina Samuels defeats Xia Brookside via pinfall.

- Earlier today backstage Jordan Devlin asks Assistant to the General Manager Sid Scala who his opponent is later before Sid tells Jordan that he's working that out with GM Johnny Saint as we go to commercial.

- We come back from the break to Jack Starz being interviewed before Sid pulls him side and they have a discussion on the opposite side of the door before Jack leaves and Sid looks distressed.

Joseph Conners (w/ Jinny) vs Josh Morrell

Joseph locks in a cravat before getting two off of a roll up before the two exchange headlocks and hammer locks before Josh dropkicks Joseph out of the ring who regroups with Jinny. Back in the ring Joseph takes Josh down and sends him face first into the turnbuckles before hitting a wrist lock clothesline for a series of two counts. Joseph hits a backbreaker for two before headbutting Josh in the midsection and Josh comes back with a forearm into a dropkick and a hip toss for two. Josh then lands on his feet when he misses a 450 before Joseph hits an implant DDT into a hangman's neckbreaker for the pin and the win.

Winner: Joseph Conners defeats Josh Morrell via pinfall.

- We get a video package promo for Shaw Samuels where he talks about his debut against Joe Coffey and that he's in NXT UK to hurt people as we go to commercial.

- We come back from the break where Xia demands a rematch against Nina and leaves.

Ilja Dragunov vs Tyson T-Bone

Tyson immediately drops Ilja with a right hand and kicks and knees him before Ilja chops him across the chest and grounds Tyson with a front headlock before going for a double wrist lock. Sam Gradwell comes down to ringside and mocks Ilja who puts Tyson in a head and arm choke before Tyson gets to his feet and drops Ilja before hitting a jumping knee. Ilja dumps Tyson on the back of his neck before Tyson counters a dead lift German and Ilja rocks him with a running uppercut before Tyson hits a Saito suplex. Tyson follows up with a fall away slam for two before going for a full nelson that Ilja fights out of and dropkicks Tyson before Tyson catches him coming in in the corner and suplexes him. Tyson hits a full nelson suplex that sends Ilja out of the ring before Tyson and Ilja exchange at ringside until Ilja drops Tyson and tosses him back inside.

Ilja then stomps Tyson and locks in a crucifix while elbowing Tyson in the side of the head until the referee calls for the bell.

Winner: Ilja Dragunov defeats Tyson T-Bone via referee stoppage.

- After the match Ilja attacks Sam who says that he needs to be in better control of his emotions before he's stopped from pursuing Sam on the opposite side of the barricade by officials.

- We get a video package for Meiko Satomura who will be debuting on next week's show as we go to commercial.

- We come back to Sid Scala talking to Amir Jordan before they both walk off and Sid is still upset.

Danny Jones vs Joe Coffey

Joe backs Danny to the ropes before beating on him against the ropes and dropping him with punches to the midsection and face before yelling at Danny who comes back with strikes. Joe then hits an overhead belly to belly suplex before Danny counters All the Best for the Bells and dropkicks Joe before Joe hits a Glasgow Send-off into All the Best for the Bells for the pin and the win.

Winner: Joe Coffey defeats Danny Jones via pinfall.

- After the match Joe calls out Rampage Brown and challenges him to a Last Man Standing match before Rampage makes his way out onto the stage and to the ring before saying that all Joe had to do was ask. Rampage then gets onto the apron and faces off with Joe while saying that he'll face Joe anytime, anywhere.

- We get a recap of last week's NXT UK Tag Team Championship Number One Contender Fatal Four Way Elimination match in which Pretty Deadly were victorious. We then get a video package promo by Pretty Deadly who talk about how they're going to dethrone Gallus before Gallus' Mark Coffey and Wolfgang say that NXT UK is Gallus' kingdom and that they've been on top since the beginning of the brand. PD then say that they're going to capitalize on the anger issues that Gallus have and come out on top as we go to commercial.

- We come back from the break to a video package promo for The Hunt and Eddie Dennis ahead of The Hunt facing South Wales Subculture in a Street Fight on next week's show.

- Jordan comes out to the ring and issues an open challenge which Dave Mastiff answers.

Jordan Devlin vs Dave Mastiff

Before the match Dave Mastiff comes out and says that he's there to kick his head in and that he's not there for the title. Once the match starts Jordan locks in a headlock before Dave drops Jordan with a shoulder block and they run the ropes before Dave hits a cartwheel into a running senton for two. Dave locks in a rear chin lock before Jordan hits a jawbreaker and Dave whips him into the corner before hitting a float over German for two. Jordan elbows Dave in the side of the head before countering a German suplex and hitting a chop block to the back of the knee before focusing on the left leg of Dave. Jordan chops Dave in the corner before setting Dave on the top rope before Joe hits a diving shoulder block off of the second rope when he counters an avalanche Devlinside.

They exchange strikes until Dave hits a high angle back body drop before tossing Jordan across the ring and hits a running splash in the corner before whipping Jordan over the top rope and down onto the floor. Back in the ring Jordan sands Dave out of the ring and Dave slams Jordan onto the floor before Dave misses a cannonball through the barricade. Dave then headbutts Jordan back into the ring before going up top and hitting a diving headbutt for a near fall before Jordan counters a rolling senton and hits a 450 for the pin and the win.

Winner: Jordan Devlin defeats Dave Mastiff via pinfall.
