Good evening Fight Fans, and welcome to our coverage for tonight's edition of WWE RAW!
- A RAW Tag Team Championship and WWE United States Championship match are announced for tonight's show as well as the return of Edge as Seth Rollins comes out to the ring for his match against Finn Balor and cuts a promo ahead of his title match against Big E at Day 1 before he's attacked by Finn ahead of their match as we go to commercial.
Seth Rollins vs Finn Balor
We come back from the break to a match between the two already in progress as Finn drops Seth and goes up top for the Coup de Grace before Seth crotches him and hits a superplex into a falcon arrow for two before Finn gets his knees up when Seth goes for a frog splash for two. Finn hits a jumping stomp for a deep two count before Seth counters a sling blade into one of his own and superkicks Finn for two before Finn misses the Coup de Grace and counters the curb stomp before they drop each other. The two then exchange strikes until Finn hits a reverse DDT and Seth counters the 1916 and drops Finn with a rolling elbow into the curb stomp for the pin and the win.
Winner: Seth Rollins defeats Finn Balor via pinfall.
- We come back from the break to Vince meeting with Austin Theory in his office before Vince congratulates him on his putting up a fight against Big E last week and tells him they’re gonna watch the show tonight together to look for surprises before warning him that he'll kill him if he steals from him again.
- We go to the ring for the contract signing for the RAW Women's Championship match between the champion Becky Lynch and the challenger Liv Morgan at Day 1 before the two sign the contract and face off before Sonya announces a ten woman tag match with five members on representing Team Liv and five representing Team Becks.
- Backstage RK-BRO get ready for their title defense against Dirty Dawgs up next as we go to commercial.
RAW Tag Team Championship Match
RK-BRO (c) vs Dirty Dawgs
Dolph and Robert attack Riddle and Randy from behind when Randy is getting out of the ring to let Riddle start the match before Robert knocks Randy off of the apron and slams Riddle for two before he and Dolph hit a slingshot DDT for two before Dolph locks in a rear naked choke on Riddle. Riddle gets to his feet and gets the hot tag to Randy before Randy comes in and clotheslines Dolph and knocks Robert off of the apron before hitting Dolph with a powerslam and Robert saves Dolph from a draping DDT. Randy then takes out Robert and Dolph counters a back drop onto the announce table before Robert back drops Riddle onto the announce table as we go to commercial.
We come back from the break to DD in control of Randy in the ring before getting the hot tag to Riddle who hits a rip cord knee and a Pele kick into a running senton and a PK into a draping DDT before DD counter a double RKO and Dolph hits the Zig-Zag for a near fall. Randy then counters a superkick into an RKO for the pin and the win.
Winner: RK-BRO retain their RAW Tag Team titles by defeating Dirty Dawgs via pinfall.
- Backstage Kevin runs into Seth in the hallway ahead of Kevin's non-title match against Big E later tonight and informs Seth that if he beats E tonight he'll be added to E and Seth's title match at Day 1 as we go to commercial.
- We come back from the break to Seth barging in on Adam and Sonya before asking Adam about what Kevin told him and Adam tells Seth that he's lying before Seth leaves and Sonya says that it might not be a bad idea to make that stipulation a reality if Kevin wins tonight.
- Edge comes out to the ring before he's interrupted by The Miz and Maryse, Miz returning from his hiatus and stint on Dancing with the Stars before the two exchange words and face off before Miz and Maryse leave.
- Backstage AJ Styles and Omos are interviewed about their being sprayed with fire extinguishers by the Street Profits last week when AJ and Omos were about to win their tag match by pinfall and Angelo and Montez were disqualified.
Street Profits vs Alpha Academy
Before the match starts AJ and Omos comes out to the ring with Omos leading AJ to the ring as AJ nearly runs into various objects on their way to ringside and to the announce table before the match starts with Otis and Montez. AA double up on Montez for two before Chad knocks Angelo off of the apron and AA isolate Montez until he gets the hot tag to Angelo who drops Chad and knocks Otis off of the apron before sending him out of the ring and suplexing Chad. Angelo then hits a twisting splash in the corner into a spine buster before Montez goes up top and AA take out Angelo before Montez takes out Chad and Otis with a cannonball off of the apron before AJ distracts Montez briefly before Montez knocks Chad off of the top and hits a high angle frog splash for the pin and the win.
Winner: Street Profits defeat Alpha Academy via pinfall.
- In Vince's office Vince explains to Austin why Montez saw AJ's attempted interference coming a mile away and that it was awful and not the unexpected thing that they're looking for.
WWE United States Championship Match
Damian Priest (c) vs Apollo Crews (w/ Commander Azeez)
Apollo takes Damian down and mocks him before the two exchange arm drags and Damian hits a deep arm drag into a straight armbar before Apollo gets to his feet and backs Damian to the ropes before Damian drops him with a back elbow and Apollo gets out of the ring. Azeez then gets between Apollo and Damian before Apollo hits a flying knee off of the apron as we go to commercial.
We come back from the break to Apollo in control of Damian back in the ring before Damian comes back with strikes and a dominator for two before Apollo rolls out of the ring and Damian hits a cannonball off of the steps before tossing Apollo back inside. Apollo distracts the referee before Azeez rips Damian off of the top and gets ejected from ringside before Damian boots Apollo and beats him down in the corner before booting him through the ropes and hitting South of Heaven from the apron into the ring. Damian then finishes Apollo with The Reckoning for the pin and the win to retain his title.
Winner: Damian Priest retains his United States title by defeating Apollo Crews via pinfall.
The Mysterios vs Hurt Business
Shelton shows off his amateur wrestling skills by controlling Dominik on the mat until Dominik gets to his feet and tags in Rey who hits a head scissors and Shelton backs Rey into the corner and tags in Cedric before sending Shelton out of the ring and Rey and Dominik hit a double 619 before Dominik pins Cedric with a diving splash for the win.
Winner: The Mysterios defeat Hurt Business via pinfall.
Ten Woman Tag Team Match
Team Liv (Liv Morgan, Bianca Belair, Rhea Ripley, Dana Brooke & Nikki A.S.H.) vs Team Becks (Becky Lynch, Doudrop, Queen Zelina, Carmella & Tamina)
Liv and Becky start the match off as the team captains go back and forth until Becky takes control and stomps Liv in the corner before tagging in Carmella and Liv rolls Carmella up for two before Carmella slams her by her hair and plays to the crowd. Liv tags Rhea in and Carmella immediately runs away and tags in Zelina before fighting off a sunset flip and Zelina tags back out and tags in Carmella again before the entirety of Becky's team get in the ring and attack and lay out Rhea. Tamina drops Rhea once she's legal before headbutting her and grounding her with a rear chin lock before Rhea fights her way to her feet and sends Tamina into the corner before tagging in Nikki. Team Liv then each tag themselves in and surround Tamina before Team Becks save Tamina from a KOD and Becky and her team regroup at ringside as we go to commercial.
We come back from the break to Rhea in control of Carmella before Becky rushes her and Rhea ducks before clearing the other teams apron and hitting Carmella with knees before Carmella locks in the Code of Silence before Dana breaks the submission and everyone comes in and hits a move until Carmella superkicks Rhea for a near fall as we go back to the break.
We come back from the break to Liv getting the hot tag and clearing the apron before Tamina counters a code breaker and clears the apron before Liv hits the variation of the code breaker for a two count that Becky breaks up. Dana sends Becky out of the ring before Nikki takes her out at ringside and Doudrop takes out Nikki before Zelina and Carmella knock Dana off onto her teammates at ringside before Tamina superkicks Liv for a near fall. Liv then hits a slingshot into a rebound flat liner for the pin and the win.
Winner: Team Liv defeat Team Becks via pinfall.
- After the match everyone brawl until Liv counters Man Handle Slam into her rebound flat liner and she and her team stand tall as we go to commercial.
- In Vince's office Vince asks Austin how he liked watching the show with him tonight and if he's learned to expect the unexpected before Austin tells Vince how much he enjoyed watching the show with him before Vince slaps him across the face and tells Austin that he has a lot to learn.
Big E vs Kevin Owens
E rushes Kevin and beats him down in the corner before Kevin comes back with right hands and clubs E before they run the ropes and E drops Kevin with a back elbow for one as we see that Seth has joined on commentary. E beats Kevin down in the corner before countering a stunner and sending Kevin out of the ring and into the barricade before smashing his face into the announce table and tossing him back into the ring. Kevin focuses on the leg of E and grounds the champion until E kicks Kevin out of the ring and Kevin drops Seth with a right hand at ringside before getting back inside and Seth gets on the apron and distracts Kevin. Kevin then drops E and goes up top before E clubs him down and clotheslines him onto the apron before hitting a jumping splash onto the apron before Kevin hits a DDT onto the steps as we go to commercial.
We come back from the break to Kevin in control back in the ring as he chops E in the corner and sets him on the top turnbuckle before hitting a superplex for two before locking in a rear chin lock and E gets to his feet before hitting a series of suplexes and goes for a jumping splash before Kevin gets his knees up. E counters a senton by getting his knees up before hitting a jumping splash and Kevin counters a spear into a cannonball in the corner for a near fall before the two exchange strikes until Kevin hits a superkick for a near fall. E hits a uranage for a near fall before Kevin gets a near fall off of a roll up into a sit-out powerbomb before attacking Seth at the announce table and beating him down before E snaps his neck in the ropes and counters a stunner into a lariat. Seth then gets into the ring and attacks Kevin for the disqualification before Kevin avoids a stomp and Seth stomps E and leaves the champion on the mat as we go off the air.
Winner: Kevin Owens defeats Big E via disqualification and gains entry into the WWE title match at Day 1.
