Good evening Fight Fans, and welcome to our coverage for tonight's edition of WWE RAW!
- We open tonight's show with the entrance of the RAW Tag Team champions RKBRO before WWE champion Bobby Lashley and MVP come out next and get into the ring before Big E shows up and says that he intends to cash in his Money in the Bank briefcase tonight. MVP mentions how Randy changed his title match from Extreme Rules to tonight and made it where he and Bobby won't get a shot at the tag belts tonight. MVP then questions why E has fled Smackdown for RAW, inquiring if he's afraid of cashing in on Roman Reigns before Randy says that he's going to beat Bobby and become the champion with an RKO. Bobby tells Randy that he made the biggest mistake of his life and he's going to shove the briefcase up E's ass if he gets near him. Bobby then knocks the briefcase out of the ring and Randy hits an RKO out of nowhere before RKBRO leave as we go to commercial.
- RAW Women's champion Charlotte Flair is interviewed backstage ahead of her match against Shayna Baszler up next.
Charlotte Flair vs Shayna Baszler
Charlotte knees Shayna in the midsection before Shayna drops her with a knee in the ropes and misses a baseball slide before Charlotte hits a slingshot cross body as we go to commercial.
We come back from the break to Charlotte in control before she goes up top and Shayna knocks her down before dropping her with a kick for two before missing a running knee in the corner. Charlotte rolls Shayna up for two before slamming her and Shayna hits a German for two before kicking Charlotte in the legs and chest before Charlotte clotheslines her. Charlotte chops Shayna and drops her with a back elbow for two before hitting a backbreaker into a flat liner in the corner before going up top and hitting a moonsault to the outside. Nia then makes her way down to ringside before Shayna sends Charlotte into the steps as Nia mocks Charlotte as we go to commercial.
We come back from the break to Charlotte in control back in the ring before mocking Nia at ringside and pins Shayna with a boot when Nia gets on the apron and distracts Shayna for the win.
Winner: Charlotte Flair defeats Shayna Baszler via pinfall.
- After the match Alexa Bliss and Lilly come out to the ring and give Charlotte a present before she reluctantly opens it and reveals a doll made up like Charlotte called Charlie. Charlotte then throws the doll at Alexa before Alexa attacks her and lays her out with a code red before Charlotte rolls out of the ring and Alexa holds up the title as we go to commercial.
- We get a video package for the career of Randy Orton ahead of his WWE title match later tonight.
Drew McIntyre & Viking Raiders vs Jinder Mahal, Veer & Shanky
Jinder and company are in control of Erik until he gets the hot tag to Drew who takes out Shanky, Jinder, and Veer before Drew hits Jinder with a spine buster and Shanky attacks Drew from behind. Shanky then misses a running splash in the corner before Drew hits a falcon arrow before hitting the Claymore for the pin and the win.
Winner: Drew McIntyre and Viking Raiders defeat Jinder Mahal, Shanky, and Veer via pinfall.
- Backstage E is reunited with his New Day brethren where they talk about E cashing in the briefcase and how he would make a great champion.
- Backstage Reggie is being chased by R-Truth and various other Superstars before he runs off and they give chase before R-Truth and Akira argue.
WWE United States Championship Match
Damian Priest (c) vs Jeff Hardy
Sheamus joins the commentary team before the match before Damian and Jeff lock up and try to knock each other over before Damian drops Jeff and they counter each other move for move until they fist bump. Damian whips Jeff and drops him with a back elbow before Jeff dropkicks his knee and hits an inverted atomic drop into a leg drop and a front dropkick into an elbow drop. Jeff sends Damian out of the ring with a mule kick before hitting a PK from the apron and a diving clothesline off of the apron before tossing Damian back inside and Damian sends Jeff out of the ring. Damian then hits a front senton over the top rope and onto Jeff at ringside before having words with Sheamus at the commentary table as we go to commercial.
We come back from the break to Jeff countering a superplex for a near fall before they exchange strikes until Jeff gets a near fall off of a unique pin attempt before Damian rocks him with a flurry of strikes. Jeff hits a sling blade for a deep two count before hitting a diving splash off of the second rope for two before Damian drops him with a roundhouse kick for two. Damian then goes up top and Jeff meets him before Damian knocks Jeff down and hits a flying body scissors for two before pinning Jeff with The Reckoning for the win.
Winner: Damian Priest retains his United States title by defeating Jeff Hardy via pinfall.
- After the match Sheamus attacks Damian and Jeff before Damian sends him out of the ring with a Brogue Kick.
- Backstage Rhea Ripley and Nikki A.S.H. brawl with Natalya and Tamina before Sonya Deville shows up and makes a match between Nikki and Tamina right now.
- Backstage Randy is getting ready for his match before Riddle starts talking and Randy puts on noise canceling headphones before Big E shows up and tells Randy that he'll be watching his match against Bobby very closely. Riddle then compares Randy to his former pet iguana before Randy puts the headphones back on.
Nikki A.S.H. (w/ Rhea Ripley) vs Tamina (w/ Natalya)
Tamina immediately drops Nikki and tosses her across the ring before Nikki briefly comes back with strikes and Tamina clotheslines her before dropping Nikki with a right hand. Tamina hits an elbow drop before hitting a scoop slam and missing an elbow drop before Nikki comes back with a flurry of strikes and a running splash in the corner into a head scissors. Nikki then hits mounted punches in the corner before hitting a tornado DDT for the pin and the win.
Winner: Nikki A.S.H. defeats Tamina via pinfall.
- After the match Tamina attacks Nikki and slings her into the barricade after Natalya attacks Rhea from behind as we go to commercial.
Rhea Ripley (w/ Nikki A.S.H.) vs Natalya (w/ Tamina)
We come back from the break to the match already in progress with Natalya in control before Rhea comes back with a roll up for two and Natalya goes for an armbar before Rhea rolls her up again for two before Rhea counters into a cross face. Natalya gets to her feet before Rhea takes her down with a side headlock take over before Natalya takes her down with one and the two go back and forth until Natalya hits a head scissors. Natalya plays to the crowd before Rhea fights out of a side Russian leg sweep and boots Natalya out of the ring before Rhea accidentally takes out Tamina at ringside. Natalya drops Rhea with a discus clothesline before playing to the crowd and posing before hitting al elbow drop at ringside and tossing Rhea back inside. Rhea then counters a sharpshooter before Natalya sends her out of the ring and suplexes Rhea onto the floor before posing again as we go to commercial.
We come back from the break to Rhea making her comeback as she clotheslines Natalya repeatedly and headbutts her before hitting a snap mare into a low dropkick. Rhea grabs Natalya and kicks her before missing a spear in the corner and Natalya hits a flurry into a front dropkick for two before Rhea hits a northern lights suplex for a deep two count. Rhea stomps Natalya and locks in the Prism Trap before Natalya rolls through and Rhea rolls her up for a near fall before Rhea blocks a sharpshooter. Rhea gets a near fall off of a roll up before getting distracted by Tamina when she goes for a Riptide and Nikki sweeps Natalya when the referee is busy with Tamina. Rhea then takes out Tamina at ringside before Natalya gets a near fall off of a bridging pin with the ropes that Nikki breaks up before Rhea locks in the Prism Trap and forces Natalya to tap for the win.
Winner: Rhea Ripley defeats Natalya via submission.
- Backstage Charlotte is briefly interviewed before she throws the doll Alexa gave her in a trash can and leaves the arena.
AJ Styles,Omos, Mace & T-BAR vs. Mansoor, Mustafa Ali & The New Day
Mansoor and AJ start the match off before Mansoor drives AJ into the corner and New Day do their Unicorn Stampede before Ali comes in and is immediately suplexed by AJ before AJ tags in T-BAR. Ali gets turned inside out with a boot before Mace and T-BAR clear the ring and take out Ali and Mansoor at ringside before Mace tosses Ali over the top rope and down onto the floor once he's back inside. Mace then poses in the center of the ring and looks over his shoulder at the other team's corner before going back to posing as we go to commercial.
We come back from the break to T-BAR in control of Mansoor before Mansoor hits an enzuigiri and AJ comes in and Mansoor drops him with an enzuigiri before getting the hot tag to Xavier. Xavier hits AJ with a side Russian leg sweep into a missile dropkick from Kofi before Kofi hits an enzuigiri into a frog splash onto AJ's back before New Day take out Mace and T-BAR. AJ hits an ushigoroshi for a deep two count before Ali hits a tornado DDT and Omos tags himself in and tosses Ali into the corner before running him over and everyone gang up on Omos before he fights them off. Omos then clears the ring before hitting Ali with a tree slam for the pin and the win.
Winner: Omos, AJ Styles, Mace, and T-BAR defeat New Day, Mustafa Ali, and Mansoor via pinfall.
- Backstage Bobby Lashley is interviewed ahead of his title defense against Randy Orton in our main event in which MVP does all of the talking as Bobby gets himself psyched up before Big E shows up and reiterates that he plans on cashing in tonight.
Doudrop vs Eva Marie
Eva rocks Doudrop with a forearm before Doudrop misses a running splash in the corner and Eva smashes her face into the top turnbuckle before Doudrop headbutts Eva and drops her. Doudrop hits a running splash in the corner before Eva counters a driver and tries to roll Doudrop up before Doudrop turns around and hits a senton into a running cross body for the pin and the win.
Winner: Doudrop defeats Eva Marie via pinfall.
- We get a video package promo by Karrion Kross who says that no one finds their true nature until they're suffering or inflicting the suffering before talking about he's not going to stop until he gets everything he wants. Kross then says that he's not there to get lost in the shuffle and will continue his destruction until everyone learns to fall and pray.
- Nia Jax versus Shayna Baszler is announced for next week's show.
WWE Championship Match
Bobby Lashley (c) (w/ MVP) vs Randy Orton (w/ Riddle)
Randy immediately rolls out of the ring before Bobby gives chase and Randy rolls back inside before Randy slides right back out and Bobby gets distracted by Riddle at ringside before Randy attacks Bobby from behind. Randy sends Bobby into the barricade, stairs, and apron before smashing his face into the commentary table and tossing Bobby back inside for two. Bobby gets to his feet and drives Randy into the corner before beating him down and missing a spear in the corner that sends Bobby shoulder first into the post. Bobby counters a draping DDT and sends Randy over the top rope and down onto the floor before Randy grabs his knee and limps before back dropping Bobby across the edge of the barricade. Randy then hits a running clothesline that sends Bobby over the time keepers area before rolling back into the ring as we go to commercial.
We come back from the break to Randy in control of Bobby as he beats on him with Bobby on the top rope before hitting a superplex for two before Bobby slings Randy into the post. Randy gets up on the apron and Bobby attacks him before knocking him off of the apron and down onto the floor before tossing him back into the ring. Bobby stalks Randy before hitting a running shoulder tackle in the corner before hitting a neckbreaker for two before locking in a rear chin lock and Randy comes back with clotheslines mounted punches in the corner. Randy hits powerslam into a draping DDT before mocking MVP and teasing an RKO before Bobby counters and spears Randy for a near fall before Randy counters the Hurt Lock and fights free into an RKO. Bobby immediately rolls to the ropes before MVP drags him out onto the apron before Riddle and MVP argue and MVP nearly hits Riddle with his cane before Randy hits MVP with an RKO at ringside. Bobby then turns Randy inside out with a spear for the pin and the win.
Winner: Bobby Lashley defeats Randy Orton via pinfall to retain his WWE title.
- After the match Bobby attacks Riddle and sends him into the post before Bobby hits a spine buster to Randy through the table in which Bobby tweaks his knee. Bobby then gets back into the ring before Big E comes out and cashes in his briefcase as we go to commercial.
WWE Championship Match
Bobby Lashley (c) (w/ MVP) vs Big E
Bobby immediately takes E down and beats on him before driving him into the corner and E spears the knee of Bobby before Bobby counters the Big Ending and spears E for a near fall. E then counters the Dominator into the Big Ending for the pin and the win.
Winner: Big E defeats Bobby Lashley via pinfall to become the new WWE champion.
- After the match New Day come out and celebrate with E as we go off the air.
