On October 25, 2024, WWE hosted a new episode of Friday Night SmackDown from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.

The show set inside the Brooklyn Zoo was headlined by #DIY facing Motor City Machine Guns for a shot at the WWE Tag Titles and Andrade facing Carmelo Hayes. The full results are listed below.

  • WWE Tag Team Championship - #1 Contenders Match: #DIY (Johnny Gargano & Tommaso Ciampa) vs. Motor City Machine Guns (Alex Shelley & Chris Sabin).
  • Best Of Seven - Match Seven (Series Tied 3-3)/ WWE United States Championship #1 Contender's Match - LA Knight As Special Referee: Andrade vs. Carmelo Hayes
  • Cody Rhodes and Gunther face-to-face.

  • Michael Cole & Corey Graves welcomed the audience to the broadcast before transitioning into the opening segment.
  • Randy Orton came to the ring for a promo, calling out Paul "Triple H" Levesque. Orton told Levesque he was not booking the match because he tried to protect Kevin Owens. Still, Levesque said he was not booking the match because he wanted to protect Orton from Owens. Levesque explained that something had changed on Owens and he did not want to put him in the ring with Orton because he had just returned from an 18-month leave due to having steel rods on his back and did not want him to go back on the shelf permanently. Orton told Levesque he did not ask the COO of WWE to come to confront, him but wanted "The Game" to meet him. After some convincing from Orton, Levesque booked the match for WWE Crown Jewel but told Orton to protect himself from here onward.
  • There was a video package previewing Match Seven between Andrade and Carmelo Hayes, which was next.
  • Best Of Seven - Match Seven (Series Tied 3-3)/ WWE United States Championship #1 Contender's Match - LA Knight As Special Referee: Andrade vs. Carmelo Hayes Ended in a No-Contest.
    • After Hayes accidentally Superkicked Knight, Knight laid out Hayes & Andrade, ending the match in a No-Contest.
  • 2024 Women's Money In The Bank Winner Tiffany Stratton returned tonight, and WWE Women's Champion Nia Jax said WWE Women's SPEED Champion Candice LeRae would take care of Naomi tonight. Candice LeRae & Indi Hartwell appeared and Stratton she could relax tonight.
  • Nick Aldis confronted LA Knight, where he revealed that Knight would defend his US Title against Andrade & Carmelo Hayes at WWE Crown Jewel following his actions tonight.
  • Naomi (w/ Bayley) def. Candice LeRae (w/ Indi Hartwell) via Pinfall (Full Nelson Bomb).
  • WWE Undisputed Champion Cody Rhodes & WWE World Heavyweight Champion GUNTHER came to the ring for a face-off ahead of their match at WWE Crown Jewel for the WWE Men's Crown Jewel Title. GUNTHER claimed that Rhodes was doing things too dramatically for himself, while he was doing it to live up to himself and his standards before asking Rhodes what was his real reason, to which Rhodes responded by saying that was the dumbest question he had ever been asked inside he ring because the fans were the reason he was being the top guy, despite being a dramatic bunch. Rhodes said that GUNTHER was at home while he was doing the media realms; however, GUNTHER responded by saying he did not do the media rounds, say no to the boss and fans because he was the workhorse of the company, and said that Rhodes' story would be over if he stopped being the servant of the fans, making him a gutless champion and secondary to him. Rhodes punched GUNTHER, but Ludwig Kaiser joined in and double-teamed Rhodes before Randy Orton made the save.
  • NXT General Manager Ava, Raw General Manager Adam Pearce & SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis revealed that The Meta Four (Jakara Jackson & Lash Legend), Damage CTRL (Iyo Sky & Kairi Sane) and the team of Chelsea Green & Piper Niven will challenge for the WWE Womens Tag Team Titles at WWE Crown Jewel against Champions Bianca Belair & Jade Cargill.
  • WWE Tag Team Championship - #1 Contenders Match: Motor City Machine Guns (Alex Shelley & Chris Sabin) def. #DIY (Johnny Gargano & Tommaso Ciampa) via Pinfall (Skull & Bones on Gargano).
    • After the match, The Bloodline (Solo Sikoa, Jacob Fatu, and WWE Tag Team Champions Tama Tonga & Tonga Loa) interrupted their celebration. After the commercial break, with Nick Aldis in the ring, Sikoa said they only wanted to introduce themselves to The Motor City Machine Guns and welcome them to Friday Night SmackDown. Sabin responded by introducing themselves to The Bloodline and said they were always ready to fight for those titles any place and any time. Sikoa wanted to test that by having an impromptu match tonight. Aldis took offense to this, but The Guns stopped him and said they were game for a match tonight. Aldis made the match official.
  • WWE Tag Team Championship Match: Motor City Machine Guns (Alex Shelley & Chris Sabin) def. The Bloodline (Tama Tonga & Tonga Loa) (c) (w/ Solo Sikoa & Jacob Fatu) via Pinfall (Skull & Bones on Tama Tonga).
    • As Roman Reigns & Jimmy Uso brawled with Solo Sikoa & Jacob Fatu on the ramp, Sabin accidentally took the referee out. With the referee down, a man in all black attacked Tonga Loa with a thrust kick before hitting a thrust kick and two chair shots on Tama Tonga before hitting a spear. The masked man was none other than Jey Uso. This led Sabin & Shelley to hit Skull & Bones to pick up the win and win the WWE Tag Titles.
    • After the match, Jimmy Uso confronted Jey Uso in the ring before they embraced in the center of the ring. The Usos reunited to end the broadcast as Roman Reigns watched from the ramp to end the broadcast.
