On May 24, 2024, WWE hosted a new episode of Friday Night SmackDown from the Jeddah Super Dome in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia on Fox.

  • Wade Barrett & Corey Graves welcomed the audience to the broadcast before transitioning into the opening match.
  • 2024 WWE Queen of the Ring Tournament - Semi-Final Match: Nia Jax def. Bianca Belair via Pinfall (Banzai Drop).
    • Lyra Vakyria was on ringside for the match.
    • Kayla Braxton cut a promo after the match. Jax cut a promo to Lyra Valkyria, where she promised to buzz through Valkyria and become the Queen of The Ring.
  • Tiffany Stratton confronted Belair and told her “Better luck next time loser”. After that, Bianca Belair interviewed Byron Saxton backstage, but she was interrupted by Candice LeRae & Indi Hartwell, who took credit for injuring Belair’s leg. Jade Cargill appeared, which led to Hartwell & LeRae retreating.
  • The WWE Tag Team Champions A-Town Down Under (Austin Theory & Grayson Waller) hosted a new episode of “The Grayson Waller”. Theory would introduce LA Knight for the segment, but Carmelo Hayes interrupted. Waller and Theory were bamboozled but were not disappointed by Hayes appearing before they talked trash about some of the veterans on SmackDown like Bobby Lashley, Baron Corbin, and LA Knight, which led to Knight interrupting and appearing for his scheduled appearance. Knight confronted Hayes and told him he would prove it was LA Knight’s game. A-Town Down Under & Hayes attacked LA Knight, but the Street Profits (Montez Ford & Angelo Dawkins) made the save.
  • There was a video package for Blair Davenport, where she said she would come and take everyone’s spot
  • LA Knight & The Street Profits (Montez Ford & Angelo Dawkins) (w/ B-Fab) def. Carmelo Hayes & A-Town Down Under (Austin Theory & Grayson Waller) via Pinfall (Frog Splash by Montez Ford).
  • Cody Rhodes walked around backstage before he met with Randy Orton. Rhodes & Orton shook hands before Rhodes wished Orton good luck tonight.
  • WWE Undisputed Champion Cody Rhodes appeared in the ring for a promo but was immediately interrupted by WWE United States Champion Logan Paul ahead of their match on WWE King & Queen of The Ring. Paul told Rhodes that he had his work and would not use the brass knuckles tomorrow, but Rhodes responded that his experience told him that Paul was afraid people would see him as a fraud and believed Paul had another set of brass knuckles with him right now. Paul denied the allegations, which led to Rhodes asking referee Ryan Tran to pat down Logan Paul and himself to see if he had another set of brass knuckles. Rhodes came out clean, but Paul was exposed for having another set. Paul was livid but said he would beat Rhodes fair and square tomorrow. Rhodes then responded that the brass knuckles are the difference between himself and Paul, saying that Paul would cut corners while he and The Rhodes Family were as real as real gets. Rhodes said he believed Paul was a professional wrestler, but he would be on his level until he stopped treating this as a part-time before promising to beat Paul so bad he would regret stepping in the same ring as Rhodes.
  • Byron Saxton interviewed Randy Orton, who admitted that Tama Tonga was a tough challenge but promised to beat the odds again and win the King of The Ring Tournament.
  • Bayley made her way to the ring for her match, but Nia Jax confronted Bayley backstage and told Bayley to keep the title warm until SummerSlam.
  • The Pride (B-Fab, Montez Ford & Angelo Dawkins) were interviewed backstage by Kayla Braxton but were interrupted by #DIY (Johnny Gargano & Tommaso Ciampa). Ciampa & Gargano said they respected The Street Profits, but the agenda was for them to win the tag titles, even if that meant going through them.
  • Bayley def. Chelsea Green (w/ Piper Niven) via Pinfall (Rose Plant).
    • Piper Niven attacked Bayley after the match. Niven caught Bayley with a series of Running Sentons to lay out Bayley.
  • AJ Styles met with SmackDown General Manager AJ Styles, who asked for another shot at the WWE Title after his performances against Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton, saying he needed this. Aldis said he knew how much Styles wanted to be champion, but his shot needed to be earned. Styles told Aldis that he did not have much time, but Aldis responded by saying that the situation wasn't something he could help with. Aldis then apologized to Styles.
  • There was a video package of Andrade El Idolo, where he detailed his road as both Brillante Jr and La Sombra before saying he was not another Luchador from Mexico. Andrade said he knew what he wanted and was here to prove who Andrade El Idolo was.
  • Legado Del Fantasma (Santos Escobar, Berto Carrillo, Angel Garza & Elektra Lopez) watched Andrade’s vignette backstage. Escobar said they needed to be smart with business, especially with a guy like Andrade.
  • Paul Heyman met with Solo Sikoa to inform him that Tonga Loa was not in Saudi Arabia due to his criminal background check before saying that these people are dangerous, which is why they were hesitant to bring them into The Bloodline; however, Sikoa said it was handled and that until Roman Reigns comes back, he was in control of The Bloodline. Tama Tonga then confronted Heyman and told him he would win the King of The Ring Tourney and bring the crown to The Bloodline by orders of The Tribal Chief.
  • 2024 WWE King of the Ring Tournament - Semi-Final Match: Randy Orton def. Tama Tonga (w/ Paul Heyman & Solo Sikoa) via Pinfall (Gun Stun/ RKO/ Diamond Cutter).
    • ​​​​​​​Solo Sikoa attacked Orton after the match, but Kevin Owens came to the ring and made the save. Orton & Owens stood tall to end the broadcast.
