- We open the show with John Cena coming out to the ring and addressing the WWE Universe and why he confronted Roman Reigns at Money in the Bank this past Sunday before he's interrupted by Paul Heyman who says that John will get an answer to his challenge when Roman is ready to come out.
Finn Balor vs Sami Zayn
Sami takes Finn down with a straight armbar before they exchange wrist locks and Sami drops Finn with a right hand before scraping his face across the top rope and tosses him out of the ring before beating on him at ringside and tosses him back inside before Finn comes back with a flurry and tosses Sami out of the ring before hitting a tope as we go to commercial.
We come back from the break to Sami now in control before Finn makes his comeback and goes for a shotgun dropkick that Sami turns into a blue thunderbomb for two before Finn counters an exploder into the corner and Sami drops him with back elbows before Finn comes back and hits a stomp before hitting a pair of shotgun dropkicks in the corner. Finn then finishes Sami off with the Coup de Grace for the pin and the win.
Winner: Finn Balor defeats Sami Zayn via pinfall.
- We get a backstage interview with Baron Corbin whose life has taken a turn for the worse as he's lost money, and had his identity stolen after setting up his crowd funding website.
- We go back to the ring as the new Money in the Bank winner Big E comes out to the ring for his celebration as we go to commercial.
- We come back from the break as E addresses the WWE Universe only to be interrupted by Apollo Crews and Commander Azeez, Dolph Ziggler, and Robert Roode, Shinsuke Nakamura, and Cesaro before everyone brawl and Shin, E, and Cesaro clear the ring.
Chad Gable (w/ Otis) vs Angelo Dawkins (w/ Montez Ford)
Angelo is in control early before Chad comes back with chops and locks in an armbar in the ropes into a diving clothesline for two before focusing on the arm of Angelo until he comes back with suplexes and sets Chad backwards on the top turnbuckle before hitting a spine buster when Chad gets free for the pin and the win.
Winner: Angelo Dawkins defeats Chad Gable via pinfall.
WWE Smackdown Women's Championship Match
Bianca Belair (c) vs Carmella
Bianca and Carmella immediately exchange pin attempts before Carmella drops Bianca with a kick and slams her to the mat by her hair before beating her down in the corner and Bianca comes back with a dropkick that sends Carmella out onto the apron before Carmella snaps her neck across the top rope. Carmella hits a head scissors before Bianca runs her over and Carmella grabs the ropes when Bianca goes for the KOD before Carmella drops Bianca on the apron and rolls her back inside for two before locking in a rear chin lock. Bianca then hits a backbreaker before Carmella sends her face first into the middle turnbuckle and hits a diving cross body, but Bianca rolls through and hits a fall away slam before hitting a hand spring moonsault for two before hitting the KOD for the pin and the win.
Winner: Bianca Belair retains her Smackdown Women's title by defeating Carmella via pinfall.
- Backstage Baron talks with Kevin Owens before we go to commercial as Edge comes out to the ring.
- We come back from the break to Edge in the ring as he talks about failing to capture the Universal title at Money in the Bank, and addresses how Seth Rollins cost him the match before calling Seth out and Seth obliges before addressing their rivalry seven years ago before Edge attacks him. The two then brawl until Edge hits Seth with an Edgecution and Seth rolls out of the ring to avoid a spear as we go to commercial.
Toni Storm vs Zelina Vega
Toni sends Zelina out of the ring before Zelina sends Toni face first into the announce table and back inside before stomping her in the corner and hitting a running knee for two before Toni comes back with a bridging German for two before Zelina hits a code red for a near fall. Toni then hits Storm Zero, now Storm One for the pin and the win.
Winner: Toni Storm defeats Zelina Vega via pinfall.
Jimmy Uso (w/ Jey Uso) vs Dominik Mysterio (w/ Rey Mysterio)
Dom attacks Jimmy and beats him down in the corner before the referee makes him back off and Jimmy locks in a side headlock before dropping Dom with a shoulder block and Dom hits a hip toss into a dropkick before Jimmy comes back with an enzuigiri for two. Dom hits a drop toe hold before Jey drags Jimmy out of the ring and Rey takes out Jey before Dom hits a tope to Jimmy as we go to commercial.
We come back from the break to Dom still in control before Jimmy comes back with enzuigiri before Dom hits a drop toe hold and a 619 before Jey briefly distracts him coming off of the top and Jimmy superkicks him in midair for a near fall before Jimmy rolls Dom up for the pin and the win.
Winner: Jimmy Uso defeats Dominik Mysterio via pinfall.
- After the match Roman Reigns comes out to the ring to address John Cena's challenge at Summerslam before he's interrupted by Finn Balor who challenges him to a title match before Roman laughs and accepts Finn's challenge as we go off the air.
