Good evening Fight Fans, and welcome to our coverage for tonight's edition of WWE Smackdown on FOX!
- We open tonight's show with Sasha Banks coming out to the ring and explaining why she attacked Bianca after the two tagged at the end of last week's main event. Sasha is interrupted by Bianca before she comes out to the ring and Sasha rolls out and stands on the announce table before they exchange words. Zelina Vega then comes out next before Bianca leaves and Zelina and Sasha face off as we're told that Bianca will face off against Zelina in tonight's main event.
- Backstage we see The Mysterios ahead of Dom's match against Jey Uso up next as we go to commercial.
Dominik Mysterio (w/ Rey Mysterio) vs Jey Uso (w/ Jimmy Uso)
Jey drops Dom with a shoulder block before Dom dropkicks him and Jey drops Dom with a back elbow for two before dropping him with a thrust to the throat. Dom then sends Jey out of the ring and hits a slide out of the ring into a sunset bomb into the barricade as we go to commercial.
We come back from the break to Jey in control back in the ring before missing a running hip attack in the corner before Dom hits a neckbreaker for two. Dom hits an asai moonsault for two before hitting a head scissors that sends Jey into the middle turnbuckle before hitting a 619. Rey then takes out Jimmy at ringside before Jey hits a superkick into a diving splash for the pin and the win.
Winner: Jey Uso defeats Dominik Mysterio via pinfall.
Shinsuke Nakamura vs Apollo Crews (w/ Commander Azeez)
The two run the ropes before Nakamura drops Apollo and Apollo drops Nakamura across the top rope before hitting an enzuigiri and Nakamura hits an enzuigiri into knees in the corner and Apollo counters an exploder. Azeez then attacks Nakamura for the disqualification before Nakamura kicks Azeez and sends Apollo into Azeez and knocks him off of the apron.
Winner: Shinsuke Nakamura defeats Apollo Crews via disqualification.
- Backstage Paul Heyman is interviewed before he's interrupted by Big E as we go to commercial.
Tamina vs Nox (w/ Shotzi)
Tamina is in control early before Nox hits a pair of inverted cannonballs in the corner for two before Tamina dodges a shining wizard and Tamina hits a superkick. Nox then counters a Samoan drop into a sunset flip with a jack knife cover for the pin and the win.
Winner: Nox defeats Tamina via pinfall.
- Edge comes out to the ring as we go to commercial.
- We come back from the break to Edge in the ring before he's interrupted by Seth on the big screen.
- We get a backstage interview with Finn Bälor ahead of his match against Baron Corbin later tonight.
The Street Profits vs Dolph Ziggler & Robert Roode
Robert and Montez start the match off by exchanging standing switches and wrist locks before Robert kicks Montez in the midsection before Montez dropkicks him. Robert hits a uranage before Dolph and Robert double up on Montez for two before Montez gets the hot tag to Angelo who drops Dolph repeatedly and hits a butterfly neckbreaker for a near fall that Robert breaks up. Dolph then hits Angelo with a famouser for a near fall before Angelo hits a spine buster and Montez a splash for the pin and the win.
Winner: Street Profits defeat Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode via pinfall.
Bianca Belair vs Zelina Vega
Zelina sends Bianca into the post and beats on her before rocking Bianca with a back elbow and getting two off of a crucifix before Zelina chokes Bianca in the ropes. Bianca then sends Zelina out of the ring before Sasha comes out to the ring and distracts Bianca before Zelina capitalizes as we go to commercial.
We come back from the Bianca making her come back before hitting a hand spring back flip for two before Zelina takes Bianca's back and Bianca backs her into the corner before hitting a suplex. Bianca then slings Zelina into the barricade before hitting the KOD for the pin and the win.
Winner: Bianca Belair defeats Zelina Vega via pinfall.
- Backstage Paul meets with Universal champion Roman Reigns as we go to commercial.
Finn Bälor vs Baron Corbin
Before the match Baron tries to talk his way out of the match before Finn attacks him and Baron counters a suplex before Finn hits a sling blade and takes Baron down before hitting a jumping stomp. Finn then stomps Baron against the ropes before hitting a sling blade and a shotgun dropkick into the Coup de Grace for the pin and the win.
Winner: Finn Bälor defeats Baron Corbin via pinfall.
- After the match Finn gets on the mic and calls out Roman before Roman and Paul come out onto the stage as we go to commercial.
- We come back from the break to Roman and Paul making their way into the ring before Roman gets on the mic and tells Finn to keep his name out of his mouth before dropping the mic and going to leave. Finn then shoves Roman out of the ring and points finger guns at Roman before Roman gets onto the apron and Finn is attacked from behind by The Usos. Finn comes back and takes out Jimmy and Jey before Roman takes his jacket off and gets into the ring before Finn goes after Roman and hits a sling blade. The Usos then attack Finn again before Roman hits a Superman punch and Jey hits a splash before Roman beats on Finn and chokes him out.
