Ahead of NXT TakeOver: Phoenix, WWE taped the first round of the 'Worlds Collide' tournament at the Phoenix Convention Center in Arizona. There were dark matches mixed in with bouts from the 'Worlds Collide' tournament and when the second round taping is complete, we will update this article followed by a separate article tomorrow which will include the final results.
Representing NXT are Adam Cole, Velveteen Dream, Dominik Dijakovic, Keith Lee and Shane Thorne. NXT UK representatives include Mark Andrews, Tyler Bate, Travis Banks, Jordan Devlin and Zack Gibson. Participating Cruiserweights from 205 Live, meanwhile, include Cedric Alexander, Tony Nese, Drew Gulak, TJP and Humberto Carrillo. (Matches will air on the WWE Network on February 2nd)
