A busy week on the road is in the books for the various WWE brands, with four different touring groups out running live events.
For the second straight week, Raw cards were headlined by Roman Reigns defending the Universal Title against Braun Strowman -- and each time Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre interfered to attack Reigns and disqualify Strowman. Baron Corbin also flexed his muscle as acting general manager of Raw, losing to Finn Balor and then immediately making a No DQ rematch and getting the better of Balor.
Samoa Joe was absent from two of the three live events on the SmackDown loop, and was replaced in the main event by The Miz.
Harper and Tyler Breeze made surprise appearances at the NXT event in Buffalo on September 6. Harper challenged Ricochet for the North American Title, while Breeze faced Marcel Barthel. Harper then went to work singles matches on the SmackDown loop, facing Karl Anderson and R-Truth, while Breeze worked the remainder of the Great Lakes region tour of NXT, facing Dan Matha and challenging Ricochet.
