Rey Mysterio Now Holds The Record For Competing In The Most WWE TV Matches After Entering WWE Hall Of Fame

Rey Mysterio made history on the July 8 episode of WWE Raw.

Since being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2023, ----Rey Mysterio has competed in 33 matches on WWE TV and PLEs. This means he now holds the record for the most televised matches since his induction. The record was previously held by Jerry Lawler. Lawler competed in 32 bouts between 2007, following his Hall of Fame induction, and 2012, when he suffered a heart attack on WWE Raw and was never again cleared by the company to wrestle.

Rey Mysterio's record-breaking match was one that is significant to his legacy. He finally suffered a pinfall loss to his son Dominik Mysterio. The father and son rivals were on opposite ends of a Mixed Tag Team Match. Dominik teamed with Liv Morgan, while his father teamed with LWO stablemate Zelina Vega.
