In 1997, at the peak of "Friends" and just as Rey Mysterio was picking up steam in WCW, the National Enquirer published a story that Jennifer Aniston and Mysterio were dating.
The National Enquirer is a well-known gossip magazine that doesn't let facts or truth get in the way of a good story.
Appearing on Impaulsive with Logan Paul, Mysterio was asked about the rumor.
"About a week," Mysterio joked about how long they dated. "That was crazy. National Enquirer. They just threw it out there."
Asked if he would like being in the public eye so much, Mysterio said, "No. I like having my privacy. I'm very low key. When I chill with my family, I don't like to get mugged or be signing shit. Even when I'm on vacation. I get mobbed sometimes so much by the staff of the hotel and the hotel is taking care of us, and sometimes it gets to be too much. I don't mind when I'm working, but I'm on my time off [indicates he wants to chill]."
Mysterio went on to say that even when his mask is off, he'll get recognized through his tattoos.
Maybe Mysterio and Aniston are just on a break.
