Rhino Says He Would Like To Wrestle For At Least Another Six Years

Rhino doesn't plan on hanging up his boots anytime soon.

Speaking with The Cut Pro Wrestling Podcast, the IMPACT Wrestling Superstar was asked about his remaining goals in the business, sharing that he hopes to continue going until 2027. Having had his first match in 1995, lasting six more years would extend Rhino's in-ring run to 32 years. Furthermore, he talked about wanting to find the next big industry stars and helping to nurture them. Here was his full answer:

"Well, I'd like to go at least another six years. God willing. Knock on wood. Just to make it a good thirty-two and then find the next Randy Orton, find the next Rock, John Cena. You know, the next [Stone Cold Steve] Austin, the next Triple H, and the next Lita, the next Trish Stratus, the next Sasha Banks. Just to help nurture them and make them grow and become a major draw. The next Charlotte Flair in the wrestling world. That way -- you always want to leave it better than what you found it, you know, with anything you do. Definitely, I want to do that. Along with, obviously, World Champion is always in your mind and that's definitely more towards the front of my mind than anything, but I really don't talk about that much. That's a personal hunger and goal and drive."

Rhino joined the Violent By Design faction at IMPACT Sacrifice in March 2021. He, along with Eric Young, Deaner, and Joe Doering will face Willie Mack, Eddie Edwards, Chris Sabin, and James Storm.

Fightful will have live coverage of the event beginning at 5 p.m. PST on Sunday, April 25.
