Rich Swann underwent surgery today, though further details were not revealed.
He suffered a right ankle injury at IMPACT Bash at the Brewery 2 on Jan. 10. Swann worked the main event, teaming with Tessa Blanchard, Brian Cage, Willie Mack in a loss to oVe (Sami Callihan, Jake Crist, Dave Crist & Madman Fulton). He was helped to the back by officials during the match after suffering the injury. IMPACT later confirmed the injury on social media.
The injury caused him to miss IMPACT Hard to Kill. Swann was scheduled to team with Willie Mack against The North (Josh Alexander & Ethan Page) in an IMPACT Tag Team Title bout. The match ended up being changed to a handicap match with Mack taking on both members of The North. The North retained their titles in the bout.
