Richard Holliday comments on the speculation surrounding him and All Elite Wrestling.
In late July, Fightful Select reported that Richard Holliday had visited the AEW Collision taping in Hartford, Connecticut. Despite the fact that Holliday is local to the state of Connecticut, many fans began to speculate that Holliday could be coming into AEW in the near future.
In a new interview with Nick Hausman of the Haus Of Wrestling podcast, Holliday commented on the speculation, saying that it is one of the best parts about wrestling.
“Listen, I think speculation is one of the funnest things about wrestling. I think the speculation that surrounds wrestling is large, that’s a big part of the business. I think that fans are going to do that, and they’re always gonna have fun fantasy booking. That’s their thing, especially on Twitter. I’m just happy that fans want to see me in a certain light and that’s all I can ask for.”
Holliday is not currently tied down to any major promotion, as he is mainly competing on the independent scene for promotions like GCW, BEYOND Wrestling, and AML.
