Ricochet Reunites With Chuck Taylor Backstage At AEW Dynamite, Says AEW Feels Like Home

Ricochet meets up with some old friends.

On the September 11th episode of AEW Dynamite, Ricochet competed in his home state of Kentucky and picked up the win in a singles match against Sammy Guevara.

Paul Heyman: I'm Successful Because I Never Really Wanted A Real Job

In a digital exclusive, Ricochet commented on his win. He stated that it felt great to be back in Kentucky and doing what he loved to do. Mark Briscoe approached and gave Ricochet a first bump. Kyle O’Reilly greeted Ricochet, and they briefly embraced.

Orange Cassidy walked up and asked Ricochet if he worked there. Ricochet noted that he was in the Casino Gauntlet Match with Cassidy at AEW All In. Cassidy walked away. Chuck Taylor walked up, and Ricochet gave him a hug. Taylor said he was happy that Ricochet was in AEW, and it was great to see him. Ricochet then reacted to seeing Taylor.

"That’s awesome. Chuck Taylor, bro. Literally my first day of training, he was there to help me out, and he’s been there basically my whole career. So to answer your question, it feels awesome to be here, All Elite Wrestling, where the best come to wrestle. Not only that, but I have so many friends in the back, it honestly feels like home to me, so I’m just ready for the future and what I got to do here at All Elite Wrestling," Ricochet said.

As Ricochet noted, Taylor helped train him earlier in his career, and they have been friends for many years.
