He may be a fantasy football black hole this season, but according to Mojo Rawley, Rob Gronkowski has fantasies in another world.
According to Smackdown's Mojo Rawley, the superstar tight end Gronkowski wants to wrestle in the future. Rawley appeared on Good Morning San Diego earlier this week and spoke about his friend.
"The main man Robbie G. Well I played college football with a couple of his brothers, his older brothers Dan and Chris, we all kind of grew up together. We all came up together, we’ve all been on the grind for a very long time. Trust me we’ve had that conversation many times and he’s dying to get in the ring. I can tell you it won’t be while he’s in season," said Rawley.
Several football players have been involved with the WWE, with Lawrence Taylor even headlining a WrestleMania after retirement. Most NFL contracts now stipulate that players can't wrestle, or at least get physical. An infamous case came in 2007 when Adam 'Pacman' Jones became TNA World Tag Team Champion without actually touching anyone.
The New England Patriots are currently 3-1, and gain their starting QB back this week, in Tom Brady.
