Rob Van Dam Responds To Criticism Surrounding His Comments On Jon Moxley's Spike Bump

Rob Van Dam responds to his critics.

On a recent episode of his 1 Of A Kind podcast, Rob Van Dam made some comments about Jon Moxley's viral spike bump, saying that it personally made him want to be associated with WWE instead of AEW.

Van Dam's comments were met with a ton of backlash, with fans arguing that Van Dam has been involved in a ton of similar spots throughout his career. Many fans also touted Van Dam's ECW run against him as a way to accuse him of being hypocrite.

Now, the WWE Hall Of Famer is responding to those fans, explaining himself with three different points.

First, Van Dam dismissed fans saying that he's dealing with concussion symptoms, noting that the injury is a part of his past and not his present or future.

Following that, Van Dam said that he's never been a fan of the spike spot that he and Abyss did in TNA before also stating that garbage matches took the place of actual wrestling in ECW.

The statement was finished off after Van Dam said that he doesn't think that Jon Moxley thought negatively of the spot, even if it was pitched from a writer.
