Robert Stone reflects on taking variations of the Spear.
Robert Stone is no stranger to making enemies out of some of the toughest wrestlers to come through NXT. While he was managing Von Wagner, he ran afoul of Bron Breakker and found himself on the receiving end of a Spear. Then, during NXT 2300, he was Gored by the final original ECW Champion, Rhino.
Appearing on The Babyfaces Podcast, Robert Stone admitted that while Rhino's Gore certainly had its own twist to it, the Spear he took from Bron Brakker left him sore for a little while longer.
"I think I’m a little bit more laid out from Bron’s. I might have been a little bit more laid out from Bron Breaker’s. My rib, definitely, still from a year ago when I felt it from Halloween Havoc, it still has a little something something on it. Believe me, I’m not toning down the Gore from Rhino because that did not feel good at all, but if I had to pick one, Bron."
