The Rock praises Ken Shamrock.
One of The Rock's first major feuds in WWE was against Ken Shamrock. The two battled shortly after Rocky Maivia became The Rock when he joined The Nation of Domination in 1997. Rock and Shamrock had a series of matches on WWE pay-per-views in early 1998 over the Intercontinental Title, including singles matches at Royal Rumble and WrestleMania XIV.
Jumping on Twitter, The Rock took time out of his day to respond to IMPACT Wrestling Champion Brian Cage, offering up praise for Shamrock.

Shamrock will return to wrestling this Friday, Aug. 30, on IMPACT Wrestling when he responds to Moose following their Twitter war of words. Shamrock is expected to be part of the Sept. 5 and 6 IMPACT Wrestling television tapings in Las Vegas as well. It is unknown if he will step back in the ring for a match.
