A new match has been announced for AEW Revolution.
On the January 17 episode of AEW Dynamite, Orange Cassidy & Trent Beretta picked up a win over Komander and Penta El Zero Miedo in tag team action. After the match, Roderick Strong came to the ring and talked about his championship aspirations, this time face-to-face with Cassidy.
Cassidy offered to face Strong right then and there, but Strong instead challenge Cassidy to face him for the championship at the Revolution pay-per-view.

This will be Roderick Strong's first time competing on an AEW pay-per-view. Furthermore, this will be Cassidy's first time defending the belt on pay-per-view since Full Gear, where he faced Jon Moxley.
