ROH World Title Match, Trios Championship Match, And More Set For 10/18 AEW Dynamite

Dalton Castle will challenge for the ROH World Championship on the October 18 episode of AEW Dynamite.

On the October 14 edition of AEW Rampage, Chris Jericho and the Jericho Appreciation Society celebrated the events of this past Wednesday. There, Daniel Garcia helped Jericho beat Bryan Danielson to retain the title. Castle crashed the celebration and stated that he has broken his back for the ROH World Championship, and he's willing to break Jericho's back to win the gold and give the people an honorable champion. Jericho accepted the challenge and vowed to pluck the feathers off of Castle, ho referred to himself as a powerful peacock.

Jericho is on a mission to beat every great ROH World Champion from the past, and Castle fits the bill. Castle, alongside The Boys, currently holds the ROH World-Six Man Tag Team Championship.

Later in the show, the Best Friends (Trent Beretta and Chuck Taylor) and Orange Cassidy challenged AEW World Trios Champions Death Triangle (PAC, Penta Oscuro, and Rey Fenix) to a match for the gold. Death Triangle beat the trio to win the vacated titles on the September 7 episode of AEW Dynamite. The two teams have been feuding in recent weeks, and the rivalry reached another level on the October 12 episode of Dynamite; Cassidy beat PAC to win the AEW All-Atlantic Championship.
