The Shield almost reformed.....but not quite.
Dean Ambrose once again came up short in his effort against Drew McIntyre, losing in a No Disqualification bout on WWE Raw. Following the bout, McIntyre, Baron Corbin, Elias, and Bobby Lashley entered the ring, ready to pick the carcass of Ambrose. However, Ambrose had some backup this week as former Shield running mates Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns had the back of The Lunatic.
For Reigns, it was his first taste of physical competition since he wrestled in a six-man tag team match on the Oct. 15 episode of Raw. The following week, he announced his leukemia had returned and he would be taking time off.

Despite saving Ambrose, Reigns and Rollins left the ring without acknowledging their former brother, only giving him a look as they made their way up the ramp.

It's been an emotional night for Reigns, who announced his leukemia had gone into remission and that he was officially back. He wasted little time proving the ring is still his yard by clearing out four to the top heels on the brand.
