Roman Reigns Doesn’t Think About Doing Grittier Content On Netflix, ‘I Can Say Yeet And Get A Pop’

Roman Reigns comments on the possibility of grittier content on WWE programming once they move to Netflix.

While speaking to Sports Illustrated in a recent interview, Roman was asked how he feels the WWE product will change once it moves to Netflix.

"No to the boobs and no to the strip club [laughs]. I don’t even think about that. That’s something that has not even crossed my mind. If we come up with a situation or someone is collaborating, ‘what do you think about this or that look or this vision?’ Then I would take the suggestion and chew on it, but I don’t sit there and think, ‘How can I drop an F bomb? How can a cigar being in my hand make me look cooler?’ We’re at a point where I say the word ‘Yeet’ and it gets a crazy pop. I said, ‘I don’t know,’ to a question and it has people hanging. I don’t see the point or the need. If we feel that need, then yes, I feel I can make that happen to. That we’re going to raunch it up. Yeah, I think some stuff, as long as it’s logical and makes sense and it’s not insulting and there is no crazy gap of ‘how did we get there?’ If there is no continuity there and the transition is way too fast, I don’t think it works. Some people may be in a situation or there is a segment that calls for it and it might work."

This past weekend, Roman competed in War Games alongside the OG Bloodline and CM Punk.

Elsewhere in the same interview, Reigns commented on whether he wants to be a heel or babyface. You can read more about that here.
