Wade Barrett: Transition To Commentary Has Given Me A Different Appreciation For WWE Creative Team

The following is an excerpt from the Fightful Wrestling live coverage provided by David Tees.

Heyman finds a steel chair and he throws it into the cage for Lesnar, Lesnar grabs the chair and Reigns hits him with a spear for another near fall. Reigns grabs the chair and he nails Lesnar with it several times, Reigns nails Lesnar with a superman punch. Reigns spears Lesnar through the cage and they both fall to the arena floor. Lesnar hit the floor first and the referee declares him the winner.

Winner: Brock Lesnar, still the WWE Universal Champion

The ending was framed as controversial and up to the discretion of the WWE official by the commentary team.

Reigns has faced Lesnar two other times in a singles match and has failed every time to win Lesnar's championship. At WrestleMania 31, Mr. Money in the Bank Seth Rollins cashed in his briefcase to become champion. At WrestleMania 34, Lesnar was victorious in a bloody match against Reigns.
