Roman Reigns: Nobody Could Be The 'Honorary Uce' Other Than Sami Zayn

Coming out of WrestleMania 38, Sami Zayn was the butt of the joke, losing to "Jackass" star Johnny Knoxville.

To help rebuild his reputation and earn back the respect of the locker room, Zayn went to Roman Reigns and The Bloodline for help.

The rest is history.

"I was entertained by him when he did the Jackass stuff and really respected the way he navigated that creative [process]. I believe I can do work of this level with... other guys, they'd just be different," Reigns told ESPN. "It wouldn't be the same. It would be a different character, a different angle, a different layer. Nobody would be able to be the 'Honorary Uce' other than Sami Zayn. He's endearing in that way where you want something good for him. Even if he doesn't deserve it, you still want it for him."

Zayn would eventually turn on Reigns at WWE Royal Rumble, setting up a showdown between Reigns and Zayn in Montreal at WWE Elimination Chamber.

Despite losing to Reigns at Elimination Chamber, the story between Zayn and the Bloodline is not over as Zayn will team with Kevin Owens to face The Usos (Jimmy & Jey Uso) for the Undisputed Tag Team Championships at WrestleMania.
