Ronda Rousey Has The Utmost Respect For Conor McGregor

Former UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion Ronda Rousey is set to make her professional wrestling debut at WWE Wrestlemania 34, teaming with Kurt Angle to battle Stephanie McMahon and Triple H in a mixed tag team match.

Rousey hasn’t competed in the UFC since being demolished by UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion Amanda Nunes at UFC 207.

Despite not being very social about her final fights in the UFC, one person that Rousey has a lot of respect for in the UFC is current UFC Lightweight Champion Conor McGregor.

"I love Conor...he has my utmost respect as an athlete, as a man, and I appreciate him always being so respectful back to me," she said to Brett Okamoto of ESPN. "I wish nothing but the best for him. He took so much weight off my shoulders and I owe a lot to Conor. Anything he wants to do in life, I hope that everything works out for him."

McGregor has previously wished Rousey the best in her pro wrestling ventures, but has also said "f*ck WWE" publicly in the past.

WWE Wrestlemania 34 takes place on Sunday, April 8 from the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on the WWE Network.
