Roxanne Perez: I Don't Need Any Of My Heroes Anymore, All I Need Is Me And My Title

Roxanne Perez says she sank The BOAT.

Roxanne Perez has had a remarkable past few days. At NXT Stand & Deliver, Perez defeated Lyra Valkyria to win the NXT Women's Championship for the second time. Perez then made her Raw debut on April 8 and defeated Indi Hartwell. On the April 9 episode of WWE NXT, Perez defeated Natalya to retain her title after Lola Vice interfered.

In an NXT Digital Exclusive, Roxanne Perez commented on her win.

“Nine years ago, a young, naive Roxanne Perez made an appearance on ‘Total Divas’, and I begged Natalya to give me advice. I begged her to show me the way of how to become a WWE Superstar, and what did Natalya do for me? Nothing. Nothing. So what did I do? Nine years later, I’ve realized that I don’t need any of my heroes anymore. I need Natalya. All I need is me, myself, and my title. Tonight, ‘The Boat’ hit ‘The Prodigy’, and it sank," Perez said.
