After the first 20 contestants had already entered, “The Joker” was revealed to be the former Ruby Riott. The final three included herself, Thunder Rosa, and Nyla Rose. The bout had been dominated by Nyla to this point, but with Ruby tied up in the ropes, The Native Beast was eliminated by Rosa.

As the final two, Ruby and Rosa traded shots on the apron, but it was Soho who would eventually land a kick that would knock Thunder Rosa to the floor and win her the match. With this victory, Ruby has earned an AEW Women's World Championship opportunity against Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D.

Ruby began her career in 2010, performing for OVW, Stardom, SHIMMER, and CHIKARA, among others, as Heidi Lovelace. She signed with WWE in 2016, spending her first year in NXT. Riott debuted on SmackDown in November 2017 alongside Liv Morgan and Sarah Logan. During her three and a half years on the main roster, Riott did not hold any belts but was a staple on the main roster as one of its top competitors. She was released by WWE on June 2, 2021.

As per AEW, Ruby Soho has signed with the promotion.

Ruby's former Riott Squad teammate Liv Morgan took to Twitter to congratulate her friend.
