Rusev already talked about who he thinks is the greatest women’s wrestler of all time and now he shares who else is an all-time great.
On a video posted on his YouTube channel, Rusev started talking about Chris Jericho and praising the current AEW star. Rusev said Jericho was a big leader while the two of them were in WWE and recalled the time he and Lana were upset at something from a segment they were in and Jericho came in and gave Rusev some advice. That little story led to Rusev calling Jericho one of the greatest wrestlers of all time.
“Chris was just such a great leader. I’m sure he is now in AEW. You can always talk to him and he will give you great advice. There was a segment that me and Lana did not like and Chris was like, ‘Man if you feel so strongly about it, why not just talk to Vince?’ So he’s really open to stuff. I was thinking about this the other day. He has to be considered one of the greatest professional wrestlers ever. I don’t want to say, if not, but just thinking about it from where he has been and all the companies he has been champion and how many times he reinvented himself. Chris is one of the greatest of all time. I’ll put him in front [of all your favorites],” Rusev said.
When someone in the video asked him who he would pick between Jericho and Shawn Michaels, Rusev emphatically said Jericho.
“I’ll take Chris over HBK. He’s still doing it at a high level,” Rusev said.
