Rusev goes to Vince McMahon to find out what he should be doing.
For most of his WWE and NXT career, Rusev has been a villain but with the introduction of Rusev Day he has became one of the favorites of many fans. In an interview with Inside the Ropes, Rusev was asked about Vince McMahon's thoughts on him being a good guy and how some people are intimidated to go to McMahon for advice.
"'How does Vince McMahon feel about Rusev Day?' He's supportive, he's trying to teach me a lot about...I've never been a good guy so he's trying to teach me what he wants and how he sees it. He's been very supportive," said Rusev. "Why would you be scared of him? He's your boss. If you want to get better, you're going to talk to him and he'll tell you what he wants," he continued.
At WWE SummerSlam, Rusev and his wife were defeated by Zelina Vega and Andrade Almas in a tag team match during the kick-off portion of the card. Fightful Wrestling had live coverage and a recapping podcast for the entire SummerSlam event.
