If WWE decides to bring back Hulk Hogan, one (big) guy who'd be rooting for him is Ryback.
On a recent edition of his podcast, "Conversations with the Big Guy," Ryback talked about the rumored return of the Hulkster, joking about the obvious way the WWE would try to re-ingratiate the former face of the company with fans after his sex tape and racial slur scandal.
“I’m just picturing, they bring him back and you know, like, the "Be a STAR" campaigns and everything? But they send him out to talk to groups of black kids. They just go overboard trying to shove it down people’s throats. Do you know what I mean? And it backfires. No, I say that all as a joke."
Hilarious.
But yeah, count Ryback among those who believe Hogan's return is inevitable. "It only makes sense for him to go back at some point, or to be involved in some way, shape, or form.”
And why is Ryback coming to the defense of Hogan so vehemently? Well, it turns out these two behemoths bonded over self-help books.
“I like him a lot, man. I actually had several conversations with him where we talked about The Secret a little bit and positivity. When you meet him in person, he’s such a down-to-earth, nice guy. He’s a good f*cking dude and anyone that questions that has their head up their ass.”
