Sadie Gibbs is getting engaged.
The former AEW star took to social media to announce the news; she shared a picture alongside a tweet of what appeared to be the proposal on July 9.
The announcement marked Gibbs' latest major news, as she recently stated that she is returning to the ring.

As Gibbs previously announced, a documentary will highlight her return to in-ring competition. In April 2021, Gibbs announced her retirement from wrestling. Due to travel restrictions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, she had been released by AEW in August 2020. Gibbs had noted that she planned to move to the United States so she could live in Atlanta in order to be closer to AEW's base.
In an interview in 2021, Gibbs discussed her decision to retire and noted that, given the general uncertainty in the world at the time, she leaned into her Undeniable Fitness brand. She also detailed some health issues she had been dealing with. In hindsight, Gibbs noted that she wishes she got to wrestle in AEW during the pandemic era.
