Sami Zayn successfully defended the Intercontinental Championship at WWE King and Queen of the Ring in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Chad Gable and Bronson Reed gave Sami Zayn all he could ask for in terms of an Intercontinental Championship defense but in the end, Gable's insistence that Otis attack Zayn to help him win would cost him dearly.
Gable was holding Sami in for Otis to hit him with a clothesline and things went from bad to worse for Chad as he became too distracted with Otis, even pushing his former Tag Team Championship partner before Otis finally agreed to hit Sammy and Sammy was able to move, leading to Otis hidden Gable. This allowed Sami Zayn to hit the Helluva Kick on Bronson for the win.
