Willow Nightingale Set To Challenge Mariah May For AEW Women's World Title At AEW WrestleDream

A new number one contender has been crowned.

On the October 8 edition of AEW Dynamite, Willow Nightingale, Jamie Hayter, Nyla Rose, and Saraya all battled it out in a four way match to determine the number one contender to the AEW Women's World Championship. Even with the turmoil involved, Nightingale was able to pick up a victory, meaning she'll challenge Mariah May for her title at WrestleDream.

The closing stretch of the bout was heated, as Jamie Hayter went to use a steel chair in Saraya. Harley Cameron came from behind and prevented the chair shot, but suddenly, Penelope Ford made her shocking return to the company and ran down to the ring to nail Hayer with a chair of her own. Hayter recovered and chased Ford to the back.

Inside of the ring, Nightingale took out Harley Cameron with a gutwrench powerbomb. Nightingale then sent Saraya flying through a table in the corner with a Death Valley Driver. Moments later, Nightingale pinned both Cameron and Saraya to score the win.
