During a press conference on March 13, Sarray (Sareee before she joined WWE) announced that she is now working as a freelancer after finishing her run with WWE.
Sarray stated she learned a lot in America and was glad that she got to go to WWE. She will have her return match in Japan on May 16.

Sarray announced in February 2020 that she would be joining WWE, but her trip to the United States was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. She eventually made her way to the United States in early 2021, making her NXT debut on the April 20, 2021 episode.
She last wrestled on the August 2, 2022 episode of NXT, losing to Mandy Rose.
