Sawyer Fulton: The Man I Am Now Is More Than Enough For Anything WWE, TNA, Or AEW Could Throw At Me

Sawyer Fulton feels he deserved his WWE release but thinks he's ready for anything any promotion could throw at him now.

Sawyer Fulton was in the WWE developmental system from 2012 until 2017. In 2016, he was one of the original members of the SAnitY stable alongside Alexander Wolfe, Eric Young, and Nikki Cross, but he was shortly thereafter replaced by Killian Dain. He was released from his contract in late 2017 without ever making another appearance on TV.

Fulton was recently featured on the Developmentally Speaking podcast. When speaking about the success he had following his run in WWE, he said he feels the person he was when he was released in 2017 deserved to be released, but now, he is confident enough that he believes he can do well in WWE or AEW.

"It is a tough pill to swallow, watching especially one of your dreams fall apart in front of you. I get a lot of comments from people telling me, 'WWE dropped the ball with you.' In my mind, no, they didn't. The guy that they fired deserved to be fired. The guy that they let go wasn't ready for everything that was coming at him," he said. "The man that I am now is more than enough for anything that they could put me through, anything that TNA could put me through, anything that AEW could put me through. I don't really care what the PWI 500 says. I know I can hang with absolutely each and any one of those motherfuckers, each and every one of those guys. I know I can put on matches across this country, Canada, Mexico. Anywhere I go. I know I'm going to be able to put on the best match of that card. I'm going to be able to be something that no one else sees, a huge physical presence, more athletic, more powerful, more crazy, and and intense than anybody's even ready for. I don't think I would be that man if WWE hadn't let me go."

The only member of SAnitY still working for WWE is Nikki Cross. She has been a WWE Women's Champion and WWE Women's Tag Team Champion. She's also held the Money in the Bank briefcase. Currently, she is a member of the Wyatt Sicks.

Since being released by WWE, Fulton has had stints in MLW and IMPACT Wrestling. During his time with those companies, he worked alongside names like Ace Austin and Sami Callihan.
