Producer news in AEW.
Mike Johnson of PWInsider reports that Scotty 2 Hotty (Scott Garland) worked the July 26 episode of AEW Dynamite as a producer.
Fightful confirmed "Scott 2 Hotty was brought in this week to work the AEW tapings as a producer/coach."
Scotty previously worked as a trainer in NXT, but asked for his release in November 2021. He has been active on the independent scene following his WWE release.
In other AEW producer news, PWInsider reports that Chris Hero has joined as a full-time producer.
It was reported in June at Hero was getting a tryout backstage. Hero noted that he was at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door to do a little coaching.

Hero also works as the matchmaker for West Coast Pro Wrestling.
Tony Khan recently noted that he's chipping away on getting Hero back in the ring.
