Seth Rollins Attacked By Fan During 11/22 WWE Raw, Fan Arrested By NYPD

A fan jumped the guardrail during tonight's episode of WWE Raw.

On the November 22 edition of Raw, Seth Rollins came out and bragged about being the sole survivor of last night's Survivor Series match. He was then set to have a match with Finn Balor but attacked The Prince before he even got in the ring. Officials would try to pull Seth away, but he didn't stop until hitting a stomp on a defenseless Balor.

On his way to the back, Rollins was attacked by a fan who jumped the guardrail. Officials were able to quickly pull him off of Seth and escorted him away. Rollins exchanged some colorful language with the perpetrator while the crowd chanted for Rollins to "f**k him up."

The incident can be seen in the tweets below.

WWE issued the following statement to Fightful:

"WWE takes the safety of its performers very seriously. The individual who attacked Seth Rollins has been turned over to the NYPD and will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law."

Marc Raimondi of ESPN provided updates of the situation throughout the evening, noting that a 24-year-old male was taken into custody by the NYPD and has been charged with attempted assault and attempted violation of arts and cultural affairs.

It was later revealed on social media that the perpetrator of the attack had been scammed by a catfish Seth Rollins accountant on social media. He says that is why he did what he did on Monday Night Raw.

Fightful will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates as they become available.
