Seth Rollins made a bold claim in regards to today's wrestling.
Last night on Twitter, Rollins tweeted a piping hot take when it comes to wrestling today, not just in WWE, but everywhere else. The former Universal Champion said he doesn't know "if there’s ever been this much incredible wrestling going on at one time" while using the hashtag #goldenage.
From coast to coast and sea to sea, I don’t know if there’s ever been this much incredible wrestling going on at one time. Taking nothing away from past generations— they inspired & paved the way— but we’re damn sure keeping up...and then some. #ironsharpensiron #thegoldenage

Today's wrestling landscape differs from the wrestling decades ago with the advent of AEW and NJPW being easier to watch globally than at any other time in history, not to mention other promotions such as MLW, IMPACT, NWA, ROH and indie promotions such as GCW, ICW, Warrior Wrestling and more.
Rollins has been in a feud with Rey Mysterio for a number of weeks, with the two of them having an "Eye For An Eye" match at Extreme Rules, resulting in Mysterio's "eye" being pulled out of its socket. For full results of Extreme Rules, click here.
