Shane Taylor and Lee Moriarty send a message to Blackpool Combat Club.
In recent weeks, Shane Taylor and Lee Moriarty have been engaged in a heated feud with Blackpool Combat Club. Moxley defeated Taylor on the January 20 episode of AEW Rampage, and he beat Lee Moriarty on the January 26 episode of AEW Rampage. Taylor and Moriarty attacked Moxley after the bell, which led to a tag team match the next night on AEW Collision. There, Moxley and Claudio Castagnoli defeated Taylor and Moriarty.
In a tweet, AEW shared a post-match promo by Taylor and Moriarty in which they discussed their loss.
Shane Taylor: We make a career of fighting the biggest, the baddest, and the best competition out there. When you do that, when you don’t duck anybody, when you don’t run from anybody, sometimes, you learn those hard lessons. You face those consequences. But make no mistake about it. Moxley, Claudio, we are far from done. As far as I’m concerned, when people think about the baddest dudes in this company, they will not think about the BCC. They will think about STP.
Lee Moriarty: Fall down seven, get up eight. No matter what you try to do to us, we get back up on our feet, stand ten toes down, and we’re defiant every single time. Because we are here to prove that we are two of the best, regardless of who’s across from us in that ring. So you all need to understand it’s time to watch your step and protect your neck
ST: Rumble, bad man, rumble.
Taylor responded to the post with an additional message. He said this war was against more than the Blackpool Combat Club, as he and Moriarty were fighting for where their place in the industry should be. Taylor targeted Bryan Danielson and Wheeler Yuta and said the whole stable would be seeing them sooner than they thought.
This fight, this WAR is against more than the #BCC this war is against the entire industry & where our place in it should be.@ClaudioCSRO @JonMoxley @bryandanielson @WheelerYuta
